I would say 3 view liners and 4 amfleet is nice. I do both via and Amtrak but the via version only runs with Bachman venture cars. Shucks

I bought one (Rock Island) with a similar motor issue from my local hobby store, and it was traced to the commutator not being cleaned. It still runs to this day with the original motor

I really thought about buying a NW class A and Y6A or B from BLI as soon as they rerelease the models….. Now I am really hesitant. As I am from Germany and can’t easily send them back to America if there is a problem. Any other American brand that makes these locos and doesn’t have these many problems?

Well this video got my 8 year old in my lap for 40 minutes or so... and here dad wanted to just relax. But $65 for these sets? Wow, that is a decent deal. I can't get away from the irony that the DCC sound decoder cost more than the set though.

Apparently some dealers don't want to get involved with after sales service. That is bad, especially for hobby products like model railroading. Years ago, there was "Red Caboose Hobbies" in NYC, who, if you happened to call during his lunch break, he would curse you out on the phone. Did that to me once, never bought from him again and eventually was shut down due to non payment of taxes. The BLIs look good but they sure seem to have their problems. Personally, I just don't like their sound system. The "chuff" just sounds like white noise. I use TCS, Tsunami 2, then ESU.

For what's worth; the CIWL companie must be paid by modeltrain manufacturers who are using their outstanding Logo's on the side of the wagons, and logos on packaging etc... . Greetings from 🇳🇱

To Whoever calls the Alco DL-109 an Ugly Duckling, *YOU ARE WRONG.* It’s a Fine looking locomotive. It has a long Angular nose that has a similarly with other Cab Units, but it’s also unique, and it’s long.

How are you able to use the lokprogrammer for this? I tried to do some programming on my paragon 4 big boy and it didn't do anything at all.

Nice video! I once rode a Tri-Rail train powered by the real-life 820 (although there, the cab car was Hyundai Rotem 520). I've never seen any HO scale Rotem cars, maybe Hyundai doesn't license them?

The 1602 Bluebird Dome Parlor car (flat windows with the Bluebird room) has been under restoration in Taylorville for several years.

I've even dropped an old Athearn sintered wheelset in just to get the loco running until new gears came available!

This is why I got rid of my smoke unit in my ATSF 3751 and added more weight in it, and I am happier with the extra incredible pulling power than the smoke stuff. To each their own on smoke or not to smoke.

The really bad thing is they're on line only. I have several of the buildings and they are okay if you want already made scenes on your layout.

The 2 Prototype trains run 16 coaches each not 18. Lowlander service goes to Glasgow & Edinburgh (8/8 - splits at Carstairs) & Highlander goes to Aberdeen, Inverness & Fort William (8/6/2 - splitting at Edinburgh). Might be why your loco is struggling.
