A guy in my unit got promoted to corporal within 3 months because he was tall and athletic 6'6" former college basketball player. Height doesn't just help with the ladies it gives an aura of authority even if it isn't true this guy was a mess. Me at 5'6.5" got overlooked.

I’m 5’3 and I agree with you. Being short is not that big of a deal. There’s some disadvantages of course but that’s everything in life. And I remember the bagel store guy. It was on Long Island, where I’m from actually lol. That dude overreacted like crazy. I’m pretty sure he was taller than me too. If I’m being honest I’ve never really felt like people who are a lot taller than me are that much taller. I don’t think about it very often. I also don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with girls really. I’m sure some of the girls who didn’t like me back weren’t into me because of my height and maybe they were just too nice to say it, but that’s life and it’s not a big deal. I’ve still had lots of girls want to be with me throughout the yrs and have dated tons of girls who were multiple inches taller than me.

As a barely 5'10 guy living in one of the tallest countries in the world, im not really percieved as short here, but i was always skinny and smaller of build, i picked up lifting and made it a lifestyle for years, and every now and then getting more muscular and bigger, i noticed that women my own height saw me as intimidating and good looking, this year will be the 6th year of gym progress for me and i've had guys 6 foot - 6'4ish even come up to me in the gym and ask me how i got so big and even say that they wanted to get as big as me someday, as someone who grew up feeling small and insignificant im still like, DUDE you're like half a head taller than me but you call me big lol, i've also had somewhat narrow shoulders as the skinny guy, but actual big guys and girls have told me that they percieve me to have wide shoulders, muscle is the makeup for a man, and it's also healthy and makes you confident, hit the gym and be proud of yourself to make it one of your priorities, trust the process and feel good about knowing you're actively working towards doing what you can to work with the hand you're dealt if you're on the shorter side, women want to feel small next to a guy, having wider shoulders and arms that dwarf theirs gives them the same feeling as a taller guy does to a good portion of the female population so hit the gym brothers! 💪

For people taller than 5'8" actually look around you and notice how you are affecting people shorter than you. If you want to talk to us don't force the rest of us to crane our necks at an awkward angle to make eye contact. And be careful about how your proximity causes others to feel threatened by your looming over them. Give others enough personal space to not feel blocked in by you.

Anyways, to the short guys I definitely feel you, it's unfair especially since a guy can't say he wouldnt date a fat chick, but for a woman to say she wouldnt date a short guy is absolutely normal, they dont feel bad about saying it at all. It's harder to keep up with society. I am 6'1" and I am not up to date with fashion nowadays. I pretty much wear normal jeans, a hat, and have a beard, and it scares people. What's the height of the video author here?

It used to bother me a lot when I was younger, I used to get bullied/ignored by people specifically because of my height. You will be discriminated on average as a short male there is absolutely no denying that and it's something that society needs to address as people are not supportive of short males in any type of way. I don't believe all is lost though, get in the gym, take martial arts and make as much money as you can, just doing those things puts you ahead of the average person especially your average American anyway.

So I'm 165cm, I was once at the mall and I just stared at this kind of new zealander tall woman, and it was no kind of weirdo, creepy look, I just stared at her just like when I was passing by just that quick look not even turning my head just that little moment that she was on my view when I was getting off the electric stairs and she just laughed at me like a real disgusted like laugh like really the way you would do when you want someone to feel bad about themselfs I was like “Wow didn't even stare at her that much neither with a creepy face nor did anything to her” it really felt like it wasn't her the one chosing her own action towards me but it even felt like someone was controlling her mind and making her laugh about me with some wireless tech remotely🤣😂😂 was soooo damn weird.

I get matches on tinder (and I’m honest about my height, 5’8”) but when i hit them up they never respond. I’ve had some luck in real life situations but not much. I attribute that to having taken care of myself very well for most of my life. I always knew from a young age how hard it was going to be when i got older. But now that I’m older, it’s looking damn near impossible. I have no idea what else to do other than continue working on myself and my career.

You look pretty healthy to me. If you want, you could try to cook some home made meals instead of eating out and going to the gym (you can also do home work outs with dumbbells or body weight movements if you are uncountable going to a gym or gyms are shut down in your area due to COVID). Not that you should do these things to “look” a certain way but for your overall health and well being. If athletic and toned is the end result, great! If not, that’s still ok too, as you’ll be more active than you were before. Plus the bmi thing is not really that accurate for all people as a whole, as some people will be heavier or lighter depending on their overall frame size.

The problem with this society is that the masses are uneducated and uncultured. I think an educated person in the true sense of the word is not so devoid of compassion and not so obtuse in their perception that they cannot look beyond materialistic stereotypes. And a factor to consider in particular about an uneducated person is that they are unable to think for themselves. I think one disadvantage in being tall for a male is that the female body is smaller to you, so that may produce less sexual gratification. I think it certainly does when a male is 6'5 or more.

i been single for 30 years for my height i am just 5'8i am not lucky with the ladies. you're only lucky with women because the way you look and or must make 6 figures or enough too live in a house by your self .so yea this is kind off true i been made fun off by women for my height i support too be above average height for 5'8 now women changed it too 6 ft tall now is above average.and looks do matter i guess because you look like a chad thats why girls dated you women marry or date for two reasons money and hight . yea there are allot of women today that are like that around the world too . my cousins from places one is in Honduran one in Puerto Rico one in California and one in Canada one in Hawaii on at Europe and one in Korea and one in Japan. all women in those places want a tall guy. 14% of men around the are 6 ft tall and this includes gay men and teenagers . i seen ladies list online they say must be 6 ft tall must make 6 figure income must have a 6 pack i guess you have abs i guess thats why women dated you .
