It really depends on how deep the grout lines are. The app does let you adjust the robot’s behavior for tiles and other floors-for example, you can have it follow a certain pattern or move in a single direction, etc. If the grout lines are deep, no standard pad or mop will really “dig in.” You may also hear the wheels going over those deeper grout lines, which can be a bit annoying, but that's pretty standard for any robot cleaner.

I have two cats at home, and I can say the robot does a really good job. I've been using it for a month now, and I haven’t had to clean the roller even once. That's an interesting issue. With a house of your size, any cordless stick vacuum will struggle to clean the entire area on a single battery charge. Plus, cleaning such a large space with a heavy vacuum can quickly become discouraging. The Dyson models, while powerful, can feel quite heavy during prolonged use. I would recommend looking into ultra-lightweight options, such as vacuums with carbon fiber tubes, which make handling much easier. Additionally, consider models with specialized conical rollers that cut through hair as they clean, which is particularly helpful for homes with pets. Alternatively, with a house this size, have you considered a robot vacuum? You can set it to clean regularly on its own. Many robot vacuums now come with replaceable rollers specifically designed for handling hair and fur, which would suit your needs perfectly. In this case, the frequency of cleaning would make a big difference, and you wouldn’t have to exhaust yourself with daily cleaning sessions.

@ The technical requirement is probably there, but they probably won't do that to ensure the distance to the dreame. But in my opinion, the mob take-off function is also overrated. Unless you have really fluffy carpet or carpet with very high threads, and even then I'm not sure if that's always such a game changer. Because the mobs are not dripping with water and dripping when they are up. I have done both with my x40 and I vacuum some of the carpet quickly myself and leave most of the carpet out.

There used to be a series of different Dreame Mova devices. Now Mova has separated and is sold as a separate brand. In theory and on paper - it is quite the same, but much cheaper. I don't see the logic in it either :) But apparently there is some deeper and larger project behind it. I just made a review with comparison if You would like to find out more about that.
