Donny- I noticed you have comments turned off on more recent videos and I can probably guess why. I watched your interview with Pierce Morgan and that's why I came here just to say a few things. I totally get it, your success came with a huge price, too big, but I'm sure your parents would have done things differently too if they realised. I'd hazard a guess and say a big part of what was so hard were people being just so deliberately unkind. Haters gonna hate- and there are a lot of sad bitter people who look to attack others for simply being successful. They deserve only pity. Then there is all the talent and your family has- that is another thing to spark envy. A genuine, kind loving religious family is an easy target. As a young boy, and then a young man that would have been incredibly hard to take- yet you persevered and did incredibly well on your own, though I get a sense you did not achieve what you wanted ,or rather, how you wanted it. And the detractors continued. Well, time heals all things they say but we also know it leaves scars. But, now time has also been very kind to you and your brothers. There are many, many young people discovering what you all did, and just how well you did it- the musicianship, and how great you were live! There are many musicians looking back at your work and seeing that- quite a few on YT if you don't know already. Things have changed Donny- that is at least a little something to lighten the load.
