I’ve just come home from a concert of this great guitar player, Pierre Bensusan. He explained how he had been contacted by Donny Osmond for this collaboration who apparently had been a great fan of him for years and wanted him to play on one song of this new album. I hope they’ll do much more together. This is beautiful!

You always were only my 2nd favorite in the 70's because..well..Elvis. 🤷 He took 1st when I was a toddler and still has that spot today. In fact you both still retain those top 2 spots. When you were on Masked Singer I knew it was you in that peacock costume the second you started singing. After listening to you for somewhere around 40 years there was no mistaking that voice. Especially, when you went into that upper register. Barry Gibb came in 3rd in my lineup..btw.

Donny contacted Pierre to work with him but Pierre was ill, hadn’t played in three months. Pierre asked when Donny would need the music, Donny said two weeks. No go, said Pierre. You know anybody that plays like you, Pierre? Pierre: No. Any recommendations? Bill Frisell. Yeah, he’s great, Pierre, but I’ll just wait for you.
