Lost track of this video so once I found it, I figured it was a nice relief from the summer heat and thunderstorms. I'll be on my fat bike real soon because I just got a part in that took 5 months to come in. It's been at a friend's house that I ride out of on Wednesdays so if we get a nice Wednesday, I'll ride that instead of the Orbea.

Found this video hanging around and already looking forward to some winter fun.

I love the summer heat but lots of evenings after work has had thunderstorm rolling thru the area which cuts into trail riding. I can't wait for winter and really hoping we get lots of show for some real fun.

When I did my weekly ride in The Burg (Fitchburg) I would get my heart rate banging.

It's pretty rough now and I cut on it every now and then because very few people on it.

I have a jersey and bib shorts of my present kit in xxl which is what I wear. Your more than welcome to have it, just ran out of gloves. It goes back to my racing days when I used this practice to help me learn to handle suffering when racing.

Short ride but better than no ride 🤣, looking to get on the road bike a tad more over the next few weeks.

@@JustRideZipp2001 I's a strange thing. Although I'm not getting seriously out of breath after climbing I still get a good workout. It's a different feeling after having done a downhill run and wanting go back up and do it again, do it better, improve technique. Without the bike going back up one (let alone multiple times) would probably have felt too daunting..... now with the ebike even the climb is fun.

I had to replace my battery on my car because it was dead yesterday, nice easy job. Be really careful if you have to weld around the gas tank. My next two Saturdays are filled with grand buddy's birthday parties. Have a safe and relaxing weekend.

They have a car repair shop with a side area set up to work on their bikes. Mrs. Z has only done a few rides around the neighborhood.

Jack's a fun little man to hang with we had a great hike earlier in the day and capped it off with a cruise night.

Lots of nice cars and just a great time with my grandbuddy.

I do it all the time and one ride last week after work there was a police officer sitting by the speedy oil change place right after the bridge. He just gave me a thumbs up and laughed. He never noticed my outdated inspection sticker which is from 2022. 🤣🤣🤣

I've only been a couple times but it sure is a fun network, a tip of the cap to whoever keeps the trails up.

I was hoping to go solo and move to Vegas and sing in some dingy lounge.

It was fun, but the last 20 minutes I had a hard time seeing the trail because it was too dark for my prescription sunglasses, so I went with no glasses. Gives new meaning to the phase riding blind (lol).

I'm helping a fellow brother get back up and riding after being off the bike from a major neck issue. We don't go hard, and we ride out of his house in The Burg every Wednesday. You are more than welcome to join us, and we do stop often for breaks. Just start back up slow and steady and you'll gain speed, but having fun is the most important part. The Burg is no work in progress on their roads, just tough on the car.

Thanks! just me being a knucklehead out in the woods having fun. I've been spending more time in Hubbardston lately. I've got to get back out to Groton, and Lunenburg soon because I really enjoy those trails. We do have plenty of fun stuff around Central Mass. Where do you do most of your riding?

@@mvg2x34 I was just at Yudicky in Nashua NH yesterday with a coworker and his friend. Super fun trail system, and I'll have to take a few field trips to visit some on the trails you mentioned.

Used mine again on today's ride, as I said a little weight to it, but it is handy.

You can get to Hubbardston that way, but the trails are at the other end of Hubbardston so you go by the PACC. The take a sharp left in Templeton center and hit Hubbardston state forest that way.

The cave is getting crowded, I really like this inflator.

For me this portable inflator is perfect for when trail riding because of adjusting PSI on different trail conditions. Will replace my co2 cartridges for the road rides also.

I always like going out when it hot and humid, I guess I like to suffer.

Dang that was quick, I really like it, simple to use and goodbye co2 cartridges.

My cave keeps getting smaller at some point I'm going to have to lose the wife's bike so mine don't feel so cramped.

@@JustRideZipp2001 .....my wife has an old specialized rock hopper? and i recently bought her an adult tricycle.......i dont know if i told you this but the wife has had 2 heart attacks and 2 mini strokes.......plus pancreatic cancer in 2001......im lucky to still have her.....but anyway, i keep her bikes in the cellar out of the way......if and when she gets the strength to ride the trike i will take it out of the cellar bur for now its out of the way

Your wife is a fighter and I pray that when she gains enough strength, she can enjoy a ride with you. I just saw two women on adult tricycles while taking the T-bucket for a cruise today. I wife has been talking about riding again but has yet to pull the trigger, maybe in the Fall when it's cooler.

@@JustRideZipp2001 .....i bought her a stationary bike for the living room and she only used it 3 times......if you can find one on the curb grab it.......i use it in the winter and it keeps my lungs and legs fit.....15 minutes a day is all it takes......just go at an easy pace when you first get on it and after a few times your body wants to go a little faster, let the body dictate the progress.....never push beyond your capabilities i say......thanks for the prayers, i will say prayers for you guys

Every now and then it's a crash free ride.

That's what my wife said, old goats with old cars. There are several different cruise nights in the area I've got to get to. Never gets old checking out all the great classic cars.

This is Pearl Hill, great trail network with some very fun climbs scattered throughout. I've connected into Willard Brook thru Pearl Hill.

My wife made the comment that most of the people driving the cruise cars were older people (lol).

Starting to see more and more rat rods popping up in the area which are really cool indeed.

For the types of trails, I was riding these tires worked for me, and I thought they were the most like the tires that came with the bike originally.
