I have started wear my orange jacket but haven't seen any hunters. Yesterday a good size deer jumped out and ran beside me for a bit as I was flying down the mountain on a trail called Blazing Saddles.

I stopped to change my battery and heard a noise, and a deer was only 30 yards from me just looking at me. I hope you saw 4 hunters as I went by. I have a video from years past where a deer ran out in front of me on the trail.

@@gerardnatale2387 Nope, the fourth hunter is in the trees to the right of the two hunters not on the trail. You can just see his hat and vest.

When we're over at our place in France we take very special care when the hunting season is on. There are many people killed.... hunters themselves but also, unfortunately, many totally innocent people. I've had the experience when riding up a Category 3 climb of having a hunter standing right next to the road..... his dogs chasing a wild boar through the forest towards him and him firing at it (and missing). The angle of his shot must have meant that the bullet went out through the trees and across an S-bend in the road ahead. Fortunately I was behind him but a few seconds later a car drove through that S-bend in the opposite way.

@@JustRideZipp2001 ......the first time was hard but the second time last night was a little easier but by no means easier for 15 seconds......im going to take a few days off from it and see how i recover......it did take away the sciatica pain.....
