13 years later and I still remember this video. I’m about to turn 30 and I still play minecraft now and then. Maybe you won’t read this, but thank you for helping a teen out with this awesome little project (which was huge for its time). I remember being so happy with the chestfuls of loot that I had but didn’t need. It felt like being rich lol

I dont play this game anymore in 2024. I feel like the game is way too imbalanced, power creep all day long. Skill descriptions are 3 pages long. Weird ass mechanics on some champions unlike back then, it was way more fun. Coming here to rewatch TSM is nostalgia.

i understand the method a bit but how are you killing these monsters with 20k attack thats messed up im 70k and i struggle bigtime to do enough damage

Comment, I mentally filter out older clips on programming/tech, because things change fast. I really appreciated this, and I have the concern that folk share my mental filter. Many of the solid FP defenses, like from Scott Wlaschin, Bill Boyd, and SICP-dude-forget-his-name are all several years old. It's one thing to glorify a paradigm, but coworkers are often lost on this, so I know it's not because the problem went away. I'd love to see more content from you! I'm literally only watching your video to train KZbin to give me more FP stuff -- and your video snapped back with a "Hey. Don't you objectify me like that! My content is good on its own!"

The only thing in this video that still lives the way it did here is the infinite water source. I remember just before the creative inventory was categorized I tried making the train station with the booster

When you copy something on the system(other than vim of course), it is placed in the + register. To paste that thing, just type "+p or "+P if you want to paste after or before. If you want to do the reverse, instead of yanking something from vim, by using yy for example to copy a line, use "+y and paste it in Chrome or whatever. " lets you copy or paste from a register here.
