Unfortunately the top of the arch is not wheelchair accessible. Here's a link to the parks website, which has more information about accessibility: www.nps.gov/jeff/planyourvisit/accessibility.htm

This arch has brought back some trauma! I used to have a recurring nightmare that a freeway on ramp that I used to use was actually a loop-the-loop like a roller coaster (that looks a bit like the arch) and that I need to keep my speed up to not fall off. Does anyone else get recurring nightmares?

I lived and was born in stlouis my mom's dad my grandfather was on the side of the arch and my uncle his brother was on the north side of the arch I had a picture of them shaking hand

I've only been in it once back in early 1980's during inclement cloudy weather. There wasn't really much I was able to see. Never went back to visit every time I drove through St. Louis, MO.😕

My favorite park for sure. All the times I've been to Yellowstone. I've only come across one bear. Well my sister goes. She constantly sees bears. I guess I'm just not in the right areas

I just realize the goddess statue, the main boss of double dungeon in 'Solo Levelling', really took the inspiration from statue of Liberty.

Hi @RAC adventures. Please note the 2 story bathhouse in your video is part of the Indiana Dunes state park, not the national park. The best way to describe the differences to visitors is the State Park entrance is at the dead end of State Rd 49. The IN Dunes National Park starts just west of Michigan City and follows US Hwy 12, around the State Park, to Gary IN. Best way to start a trip is to go to the IN Dunes Visitor Center: 1215 State Road 49, Porter IN 46304.

Are there any falls that can be reached by a handicapped person?
@RACAdventures2 ай бұрын
Yes! While the lower boardwalk to Brandywine Falls (mentioned in the video) requires steps, the upper boardwalk is a 0.4 mile trail that the NPS says is wheelchair accessible. www.nps.gov/cuva/planyourvisit/physical-mobility.htm#:~:text=Many%20of%20the%20park's%20most,the%20heronry%20along%20Bath%20Road.

This is nice, informative short and you mention that porcupines live in Guadalupe National Park, but you show a clip of a hedgehog, which does not live in North America.

I took my daughter to Liberty Island a few months after 9/11. You can't fully appreciate or fathom the size of our lady until you're standing at her base.
