Idk about anyone else, but I just realized Chewbacca appearing in these shots are inconsistent. So he follows Han a lil after he walks up to Jabba, but then we see him walking away from the spot we just saw both of them at 1:32-2:08.

Ya'll are like Winston is weird but Jess is sitting on the floor wearing a ski mask. They're all weird af. That's why they work. Even Cece.

Call me crazy, but I'm actually glad this scene was deleted. Seeing what Jabba is immediately ruins the reveal in Return of the Jedi.

Why is it that in the series the Postosuchus that died here was female but in the book Walking With Dinosaurs A Natural History the Postosuchus that died in the same scene was male?

Sadly this amazing scene did not happen in real life as sir John Ross would have been in Sweden as he had been appointed British counsel to Stockholm a few years and did not return to London until a year after franklin’s departure on the fateful expedition

Not just Russia-the Soviet Union encompassed 12 other nations, all of which fought in the Great Patriotic War. Additionally, the film is considered one of the most historically inaccurate movies of all time. It was criticized by Russian veterans and Soviet Union veterans alike, with some even wanting to ban the film due to its disrespectful portrayal of history. Even the people who knew the sniper personally found the film disrespectful to his story. So, I don’t think you should take this movie as fact or anywhere near the actual truth."

The historical accuracy of the scene is probably close to zero but it's still effective.

0:10 I know that this isn't real, but there's something tragic in the roar of the dying postosuchus. A sense of power and rage drowning in hopelessness and inescapable pain; a defiant last stand in the face of unforgiving evolution.

Problem with Heroes then and there was that Stalin ruled by Paranoia and Fear, he eliminated anyone he thought had the ability to replace him. A hero was what Russia needed but it wouldn't be long before The Boss began seeing him as a threat.

It’s not a great look for this intergalactic drug smuggler to let one of his dealers walk on his tale like that. I’m surprised Jabba didn’t have Hans ass frozen just for that shit.

This movie is more harsh to the soviets than the nazis. In fact, the Soviets are represented as murderers, treacherous, cowards while the Nazis are chivalrous

Ok, so I read a book by the editor of Star Wars, Paul Hirsch, and his version of the story isn't that Lucas always planned to matte in a stop motion creature. But that Lucas *wanted* Jabba to be an alien, but didn't have the budget for it, so they just cast some actor as jabba. And honestly, that makes more sense than that he wanted to matte in a creature. Maybe at some point he considered it after having shot the film, and then rejected the idea. But i don't think he "always intended to" because that just sounds like complete BS. And I'm sure he's said that himself, not just the maker of this video who wrote it. But george sometimes speaks in BS.

Funny how from Blanky's perspective, Ol' John Ross never knew how close he came to being butchered and eaten, but in this scene he shows he _absolutely did,_ and it was through his hard boot and sheer dumb luck that he even survived and he knows it. And here he is, trying to tell Francis without telling him, why this who expedition is an absolutely _terrible_ idea.
