Can I ask what year you bought your air 4? Reason is, yours has the brow pole over the side entrance. I bought one a couple of years ago but haven't had it out of the bag yet and I think the newer nightfall version has the inflatable brow. Mine is the nightfall, just wondering when it changed.

hi we have had it for about 3 years, the new ones have an inflatable around the side door instead of a small pole, i noticed that in go outdoors over the weekend

Cheers, I think mine will be the pole type cos I only paid £289 from go outdoors a couple of years ago in a sale. No big deal, and a great price still!

yes i have had the cloud peak 2 for about 4 weeks now and done my first wild camp last night and yes mine is the 2023 one and yes i have heared a couple of the zips going on it but the first one the one you have so im not sure if there the same stuff i think the first one is made out of 15d and the 2023 20d but yes them bloody zip on mine kept getting snagged on the door flap but thats sorted now but sorry that happened to you bro lucky ye had another tent with you 🙁but id be fumin bro

thanks guys, very nice of you to say, kind of wished we'd stayed for that brew, we are bonkers lol, we have looked at our video footage from last night, not sure what to make of the new wireless mics, we'll edit the footage and see how it pans out, the house it carnage at the mo, we have the tent upside down in the kitchen drying out and the dining table in the living room as we speak, complete carnage but all good fun, we'll look in to the charity event, the dates sound familiar, i may be photographing a wedding, ill check the diary and come back to you, we'd love to come, be nice to have a drink and a proper chat without squelching around the site lol

it was really bleak when we were up their prior to doing this vlog, blowing a hoolie, pouring down and it was completely clagged out, not at all inviting lol, we are only an hour away as well

R.I.P Freddie,we had three Jack Russells that always joined us on our camping trips, sadly now we are down to one. So sad when the finally go over the rainbow bridge,so we can feel your pain .the van conversion is looking good. Ps we are in our seventy’s and still love our Berghaus tent. Regards Ray & Lin

Erecting with minimum fuss........... Prior preparation is the key. When your tent is next pitched fix cable ties leaving 1 cm diameter loops at the fixture points for the groundsheet . Attach groundsheet to the loops . The tent can now be erected as one with outer,inner,and groundsheet all connected together. When erecting tent remove from bag and lay out green side up with all 4 pole connection straps visible ( 2 red 2 blue ) Assemble poles and insert through pole sleeves,but do not fix them to pole straps yet. Fit red pole to straps,followed by blue pole. Tent is now erected. Peg out fly sheet,and guy lines. Dis-assembly is reversal of the above. With practice you will do this in minutes enabling you to put the tent up quickly even in the rain ,ensuring a dry shelter,with dry floor in the vestibule.

electrics next, after that we can fit the ceiling and lower wall panels, that will make a massive difference, ive offered to pay a few people on youtube to have a look and help me but got nothing back so a local conversion company will do it for me, we habe the beams for the bed but pointless going any further with that until the wall panels are fitted to the lower wall, we want to do a high spec job hence how long its taking, ive seen some people throwing them together in a couple of weeks, thats not what we're looking for

thanks for your kind words, it was very relaxing, im having to sell the terra nova tent as we cant get 2 mats inside, but both tents are great, i hope you enjoy the channel, were new to all this both of us doing it as it was difficult having the dog who sadly passed away a couple of months ago, so we can both get out now

i only used it once then sold it, too small, if the door on the inner was as high as the door on the fly it would have made a difference but im too used to a 2 man tent

the drone shots aint the best, it was really blown out i managed to get it down abit during editing, it was abit windy to get the drone up hence not many drone scenes

its worth a visit, apart from the speakers etc, its like a trip around go outdoors on steroids, id like to see more brands, rab, terra nova etc, ive never heard of most of the brands, downside was how expensive food and drink were

That was a lovely edit 👌 I couldn't make it this year and was planning on going next year, but those crowds put me off. I hate crowds, my main purpose for going would be to meet fellow campers like yourselves. I'm just security conscious if you know what I mean. its very popular, it was only the second year of having it , if its your thing its definitely worth a visit, good for families as well, the food and drink is very expensive though, those ice creams were a fiver a pop, i think it was about £4 for a regular coffee as well

Nice vid good job, lovely Wales. Just a small mention, I know nobody outside Wales pronounces Welsh places properly. 'Y' in Welsh is sometimes pronounced as 'uh', so Tryfan is pronounced Truh van. The f in Tryfan is pronounced toward a 'v'. Truh Van, Tryfan. Much love, keep hiking on them mountains. Great vid once again, liked.

prepare yourself of it, its no duck walk lol, i was struggling to move at work today lol, its a wicked hike, some very steep drops, i had a wobble at one point with a 3ft gap to get throuigh on my hands and knees with about a 2000ft straight drop on the other side, absolutely brutal but i would ,do it again, we went up the south ridge and down via the north ridge, i thing it was as difficult on the decent as it was going up. but its got to be done, you really do feel the altitude up on the summit

I'm glad you said the tent was more difficult to put up than most say, I had nothing but trouble last week in Wales putting it up for the 1st time, hopefully the next time it'll be easier haha 😄 👍

its a wicked tent once you get round the faff of lining it up properly with the footprint which sounds easy but it is a faff at first

After asking other guys who have reviewed this tent, they stated great overall tent, for even winter in tree line areas and perhaps mid scottish mountain terrain but not for top of Mountain areas with possibility of what the wind and rain could throw at it!

if you buy alternative pegs and tie it down you could do higher altitude, its a very sturdy tent
