I don't think we should blame the trainer or orca, we should blame the place and the person running it, the trainer what's only doing their job and she got mauled sick to the core witch I don't see people saying 'poor girl', I mean, it's alright to be sorry for the orca, but show some remorse for the girl as well 🤷‍♀️

This has no comments. So sad and unfortunate, the needless suffering caused by humans.

How the hell did they get away with doing this? Unacceptable living conditions. I don’t understand how this was legal. Especially considering that 1992 wasn’t THAT long ago.

3:33 is where we see Nootka IV, Haida ll and her calf Kyuqout in the show pool. 6:11 is where we see Tilikum in the module pool. Sealand of the Pacific was a terrible place. The tanks were too small and the training methods were abusive. The show pool was 20 feet deep, 20 to 30 feet wide and 50 feet long. And before Kyuqout was born, all three killer whales were placed there to perform shows all day. And that's where the training took place. When Tilikum arrived, the trainers paired him up with the females and had them perform a trick and if Tilikum got it wrong, all animals were punished by not being fed meals. This led to the two females displaying aggression towards poor Tili and most of the raking took place in the module. The module pool was 12 feet deep, 23 feet wide and 30 feet long. And at night, all three whales were crammed in there. The trainers would also play this game called keep away which if the orcas were playing with their toys and were naughty, they'd take it from them. And this is what led to Tilikum becoming so possessive over whatever entered the water with him. I am so glad Sealand was shut down because it was just a sh!tty place for these poor orcas to live. It really was. May the poor guy Rest in Peace ❤

1:24 you can see Kalina’s rake mark from Kayla. And I thought it was funny that Kayla raked Kalina cause Kalina is Katina’s daughter and Katina is the matriarch so it didn’t make sense.

If he had just been left with his family none of this would ever have happened. They are not meant to be sources of entertainment swimming in bathtubs for us to enjoy. Tilly snapped and i cant say i blame him. All those years of being abused and tortured finally just broke him. Leave orcas and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Rehabilitate if they are injured or sick then release them. Enough is enough

Omg I was just at SeaWorld Orlando last week and this same exact thing happened again! Two females were performing and they ran into each other and started fighting and the trainers tried to pass it off as them wanting to be social with each other. The ultimately had to cancel the show because the orcas were just doing their own thing. It was quite hilarious and I got the whole thing on video

The real truth? They're purposely making them suffer and the anger they feel has breached over to hating everything, not just each other. Look at their back fin, it tells you all you need to know about these monsters that keep them in cages.

These animals need to be left go, not just the orcas but every animal at SeaWorld, these animals need to thrive, they say that they rescue animal, that a lie, they catch them and put them in these horrible tanks, I'm not saying all aquariums are bad, i have one right near my home that rescues animals and lets them go when there better, they keep some of the animals that are too hurt to go back, but the animals there have HUGE tanks, not little ones like they have a sea world. SeaWorld needs to shut its gates. It about time people start seeing them for what they really are. The animals need to be in the open ocean, where they can hunt, and thrive, not be entertainment. Not just SeaWorld, but all these parks that do this.
