I'm assuming that this would work within OBS or would this only work with the OBSBOT interface? Also if that's the case, then I'm guessing I would have to use my OBSBOT cameras all as virtual cameras with OBS? Is that correct?

@@myshowpodcast as long as you can bring the cameras into OBS the Obsbot cameras are controlled by their own StreamDeck plugin so you should be good. If that makes sense? Let me know if it works for you.

What are the connections from the JVC camera? You may need a capture card and a dongle to connect this to the iPad.

Hi. Unfortunately not. Currently, DisplayLink Manager doesn’t support command-line options for enabling or disabling monitors. All display management must be done through the graphical user interface.

If you are using the Output->Video Monitor mode in Ecamm Live then this will trake over the Elgato Prompter completely, and you won't be able to see any prompter text or anything like that. This is how the video monitor in Ecamm works. If you want to see yourself using Ecamm in the Prompter, then you can drag the Main Ecamm production window (the one with all the controls) into the Monitor; that way you can also use the Prompter text, etc. Hope this helps :-)

Thats really kind of you, thank you. For this video, the mic I am using is the Rode NTG4+ which is a shotgun mic that is just out of frame. It is connected to a Rodecaster Pro 2, with some noise gate and compressor added. My room is quite well treated acoustically but overall it sounds good for a live show, when I want to have the mic out of shot.

@@NeilFarrimond Hi Neil, first of all thank you so very much for helping me with this. Let me tell you what I have and then the problems. I have the Elgato Prompter, Elgato FaceCam Pro 4K, the Streamdeck plus and the Black edition of the Blue Yeti(some other mics that I'm not using). My computer is custom built and a bit on the old side. So I put in a Vantac 5 Port PCI host card which has 2type C & 3 type A USB Ports with 20 Gbps speed. I can't stand Wavelink and OBS, tried to use them but the results were poor. I got something else (I forgot the name of the software) but it allows overlays, so you can read from the Prompter while looking into the camera. (I also have an external Xcellon4 port wired hub which has a 100 watt U Green power supply connected to it, but I'm not using any of this for the stuff causing my problems) I have installed the Camera Hub Software and the Streamdeck software. Some how according to the Stream Deck software, the firmware disappeared (although it was previously there). The Prompter does not power off, so I have to disconnect the cable from it. (The only modification I made to the Streamdeck plus, which has no barring on my problems is I changed the knobs from Black to Gold). I have no problem in the quality of the video I record using Zoom, but with Wavelink and OBS the video quality was very poor at the top. I have a poll lamp from Amazon, which has 2 lights and adjustable color temperatures. So to sum up the issues, the Prompter won't turn off and according to the Streamdeck plus software the firm ware for the prompter is gone and I am not able to adjust anything pertaining to the prompter. I use Windows 10 Pro an 8 core AMD processor running at 4.7 gigahertz and 32 gigs of ram. I also have an older Nivida video card. It will not support the advance features of the updated prompter software. This is the slow season for my business, and I realize that this computer has to be replaced (but this is in my home office and my wife would never let me spend the money to upgrade it to what I really want, but hopefully that will change when I can afford it). Thank you very much for your offer of help. I can't thank you enough.

Hi Leonard, 99% of the Elgator Prompter issues are related to the software. The Elgato uses two for it to work, Camera Hub (from Elgato) and Displaylink (from synaptics). Can you try to install both of them again with the latest versions? First the displaylink then the Camera Hub? This is at least rule out any software related issues. There is an action: Camera Hub->Prompter Mode->Toggle (Text / Display). That will switch between your script and display. Assuming this is what you were looking for :-)

Hi, can you tell me specifically what you want to do? I do know that the MIDI functionality can be limited for some use cases; believe me, I have tested many combinations and found it to be very frustrating at times! No promises that your use case is support but let me know what it is you need to do 🙂

@ just mute/unmute the one and two headphone output, respectively, on the Duo. It seems like such a basic function that it’s making me wonder if my unit is defective and everyone else’s mute when you click the dials in. I’ve got my soundbar and headphones running out of that so that they each have a dial to control, but having to dial them off every time for muting is obnoxious.
