I’m always apprehensive when it comes to messing with important things like my brakes. Especially when its the steer axle brakes. I hate it when I break something and have to spend big bucks fixing my mistake. I watched this video and it was very helpful. My brakes were way out of adjustment. The rest of them are okay because I know how to adjust them. It was the brakes on the steer axle that I was unsure about. Thanks for the help your video gave me.

How did you convert the AC unit to be able to work with an extension cord. Everywhere I look, they are hooked up to batteries and don’t come with a regular plug. Trying to do this on my semi this summer

Do you need the brakes released to adjust the front same as you would do for the rest of the truck and trailer

Come winter time or on ICY roads, or slick logging roads, do 1/4 turn on all brakes EXCEPT front, do 1/2 turn on front so if you lock up you still have your front tires rollin and not sliding off in the ditch or off a cliff.

Best setup 👍don’t know why truckers buy APU when RV ac do the magic from the 50’s

@wajihalkordi57792 жыл бұрын
god job , but do you think it would be more safe for the generator to housed in a covered box or maybe install a removable cover while you drive . also would you mind if you mention the ace unit model

🆘🆘🆘Get a carbon monoxide and smoke detectors,they can save your life.🆘🆘🆘 Unfortunalety they won't save the lives of other persons parked next to your generator. Those fumes are dangerous❗❗❗

Lubricate slack adjuster Clevis pins and make sure they spin freely . Use locking pliers to rotate . Clevis pins with hex heads are easier to turn .

Cut those gross fingernails!! and use the proper ranch (Wrench) LOL and the DOT will NOT allow you to adjust your brakes roadside as you are not a certified mechanic/
@antcal5553 жыл бұрын
Ive always thought like most commenters that automatic means just that .so if is case when brakes are out of adjustment whatnis proper way yo correct

1/3 turn... at 12 turn to 2 or 10.. not 1/4 thats over. older ones wher 1/2 inch total max

I used to have a Predator generator and never had any problems with it. I used a portable ac unit and vented it out the window in the sleeper. I didn't have a cool box on the frame rail like yours.

Holy s*** dude you're killing me. If you got to explain to somebody what a f****** quarter turn is, they probably are not smart enough to get a CDL to begin with. I definitely smart enough to talk about a f****** quarter turn and which way to go on your adjustment for 2 minutes like you just did
