They should absolutely unban and reprint Hex. It's a perfect counter to all the ability-spam heavy decks out there right now. But with the reprint, create a new card that specifically counters Hex, or effects of item/supporter cards generally.

Combaining that with the new tera-stadium (Area Zero), that terapagos would deal 900 damage. Nice! Now if we would add maximum belt and use Kieran, we are dealing 980 damage. Such a ridiculous jumbo card.

the big benefit i see this Charjabug enables is to have grubbins AND Charjabugs split from one another on the bench, so that if either gets sniped or Vicavolt gets KOd as expected we can get a congaline goin, lets expect the setting up bug gets knocked, now we have 3 Charjabugs without a grubbin under them on the bench leaving 2 spaces, 1 for engine, 1 grubbin, if we then recycle the KOd bug turnly, we can keep up 2-3 Charjabugs on a constant basis for 3 turns minimum which if we only ever KO EXs earns us the win.

Charjabug is one of the Pokémon of all time so I get it honestly

this pairs well with crown zenith luxray the same way talonflame did for greninja.

Same thoughts I said on Twitter. All we need is an ex, because although TEF Vikavolt is decent, I still won't recommend it. Because for some reason, this thing has 160 HP and goes down within a turn. So you are already struggling to keep up with the momentum of doing 200 every turn because aside from a common attack, one Moonlight Shuriken will screw up this entire setup. For that build, the ACE SPEC is strictly Secret Box because you need the Salvatore and TM Evo to get the T1 Vikavolt. Yes, no Prime Catcher, no Unfair Stamp, strictly Secret Box, and that's sad for single-prized decks nowdays. They struggle to keep with the meta rn.

I don't think it's too unrealistic to hit 3 Charjabug, mostly because you can play the new one, get 3 on the bench with an extra Grubbin, then after the first one gets KO'd, use Stretcher for that KO'd Charjabug and evo to Vikavolt and you're set. Will it always happen? Absolutely not. But it's not too out of the question

This is a dumb enough deck to grab my attention. Ive kinda been out of the game sense sky circus swanna rotated. Havent found a deck i liked as much. This could be it. Its silly enough and single prized.

Really looking forward to this new archetype. Theoretically, you could now use circuit cannon for 120+4*80=440. Turn one going second, play grubbin, salvatore into charjabug, play a second grubbin to the bench, and then attack to play 3 charjabug to the bench. Next turn, rare candy the extra grubbin into a vikavolt, attach energy with electric generator, switch charjabug to the bench and promote vikavolt. You now have 4 charjabug on the bench and vikavolt in the active. Previously, this was impossible, since every vikavolt had to be built on one of your four grubbin. Is it practical? No. Would it ever work in a serious game? Nope. But 440 knocks out charizard ex with hero's cape for two energy, and I just think that's neat.

Zorua is my chase card, I enjoy some of the cards but other than the three being legendary I don’t know how they justify this qualifying as a special set. Old Vikavolt with new Charjabug and Lana’s Fishing Rod. You can loop Charjabug and Vikavolt. Maybe run this with the Festival Engine. 1 Goldeen with a Board, 1-2 Thwakey, 2 Charjabug at all times (exp share via Town Store?), and 1 Vikavolt. When Vikavolt goes down, Goldeen comes out for Thwakey to grab the Vikavolt line and a Neo Upper energy.
