People always cover the musicality and rapping in this but lets not miss the cinematography direction. At 11:17 after the line about night turning to dawn is the first time Ren looks at the camera (previously he was talking to his alt) This is very powerful as the eyes are the doorway to the soul.

The pig mask represents Greed. Anytime you see it, its to represent the money manipulating the situation, making it worse. A common thread with Ren's music is the hate for greed. Also represented as "the source of all evil." He expressed this in his song "Seven Sins," making Greed the worst, or source of the other 6 sins.

The room is the same one used in Hi Ren. Good eye, he has a 12-minute behind the scenes of Hi Ren and explains they used the room in Sick Boi.

Found your channel through Ren reactions, but im a huge spoken word fan and just happened to see you rected to this poem, one of my favorites!

Athough it was a Ren reaction that sent me here, and some influence is apparent, you have your own voice. I used to dislike slam or performance poetry, preferring the comedy of Nabokov in the kitchen or the tragedy of Owen in the trenches. I don't think this needs an aural element, but it does increase the impact. I don't read much contemporary poetry, but thought this was excellent! Sending love from across the pond ✍🙏

Did you realize that after the darkness took over, light Ren starts the song all over again, just like any mental struggle.

If you look real close you can see he put an empty magazine in the gun. The camera pans away for a second then you can barely see him put the mag in and the top of the mag is black. Plus i highly doubt the gun works. They probably did more but at least all you would have to do is take the firing pin out and it would be impossible for it to fire. So yeah its still breaking the safety rules but they do it all the time for movies, etc so ill give him a pass on that lol
