Interesting. I was having a conversation about exactly this last night with my girlfriend. The form and the formless, and how all form is an illusion. The conversation was deep and rich, we were sharing stories about experiences that related to this. She spoke about her parents spiritual teacher back in Taiwan, who she remember when she was little, he was communicating the same essence of of what Syd is. We fell into a beautiful feeling as we talked together, and especially afterwards, as we laid together next to the fire - there was this subtle but very pure sense of calm and clarity. We seemed to have slipped into the feeling of the formless, without getting too caught up in any particular form. Thank you for sharing.

Sidney forget a principle which exist before the tree others. The first principle is that stupidity is the ground of Sidney's talks. If you consider seriously this first principle, you stop listening to this crap and you begin to live a normal life, like everybody. There is 3 others hidden principles (and I give them to you for free): what is alive must die, the sky is blue and Harpo Marx was right.

Amazing, he describes this experience and insight he had at “Cold Mountain”, which is now known as Hollyhock, on Cortes Island, BC. I’d love to see one of the teachers or speakers from the 3Principles community run a workshop or seminar there, it is a prime and beautiful location. To bring the 3P wisdom back there would be very fitting, due to the serendipitous event that happened there, which started Syd’s journey, and because it is a place that is a real treat to visit. Hollyhock continues to run educational and leadership programs to this day.

Banks states we can't experience emotions without (one of) the three principles? What about the emotions resulting from physiological processes in our body such as menstruation?

“They” want to irritate you to the point of paying a fee once a month to avoid the ads.

Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. I believe partly what he meant was... he is the only way to eternal life in paradise. I have thought a lot about how the three so called principles are an observation of God the father, Jesus the son and the holy spirit, (the trinity so to speak). I disagree with Mr. Bank statement that all religions are the same, only Christ died for the sins of mankind, he alone can save us from death! (eternal death that is) which I also believe is to be separated from God which is to separated from all light, all love and all goodness. I pray for everyone who reads this not to worship the created but the creator of all things. The Lord said I have not given you the spirit of fear but of Power, and Love and Sound mind. That is like what Mr. Banks is describing in a way It seems, I pray the Lord will save him and give him paradise or heaven forever.

I hope Sydney Banks accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.

My insight is about the paintbrush analogy. Indeed. We paint our own reality with the faculty of our thoughts. Only if you know this and believe it to be true will you live in well being. The potency of good thought is responsible for the pleasant experience of life we experience. The opposite is also true.

This is probably the best advice anyone has given to me and im very thankful. Thank you Sydney. And thank you Thane. X
