that's great information about the tape's deck belt. I have another Sony hifi that I wanted to play tapes, but I guess after like 15 years the belt probably died, had the weird standby mode too and the tape once in won't roll

hi, is this tv suitable as a pc monitor? is it flicker free? is scrolling smooth?
@TechGuyCharlie9 сағат бұрын
Totally is, one of the best TV's you can get, but go with 55" model, that has a 120hz panel, and HDMI 2.1 so you get native 4k 120hz.

Just like some other folks have mentioned, this was the first phone I bought with my own money from my first job. Absolute beauty, and supremely capable for the time. I was running Dosbox on this thing in 2006. And mplayer. And oh yes, even WIndows 95 in (somehow, don't remember the details anymore) an emulator, although that was just for shits n giggles. I kept it all these years but finally threw it out 3 years ago because the case had turned into molasses. The only thing lacking was WiFi.

Impossible in India because of import restrictions and website bans, but outside you can grab one easily on eBay or Aliexpress, which is super cheap too.

Hi bro.. I have a cheap 4k tv 43 inches 60hz.. it plays 2160p fine in youtube but when i checked with cpuz it says my tv resolution is 1920 x 1080. I dont understand.. actually iam trying to make it a gaming tv.. so confused on which gpu should i purchase, 1080p or 4k gpu.. thank you Please answer
@TechGuyCharlie2 күн бұрын
That is because KZbin will play 4k even if the monitor resolution is 1080p, you need a GPU that will output 4k, like a basic RTX 3050 will output in 4k, although its not meant to game in 4k, for that you need a powerful GPU.

@TechGuyCharlie2 күн бұрын
Indeed is impossible, even these days only a handful of laptops can output 4K 60hz over HDMI, thanks to manufacturers still using the older HDMI standard.

since, its been 3 years. how is the temp? some say, the temps go high after sometime, since this has bad factory paste and pads? noticing mine to reach 80
@TechGuyCharlie2 күн бұрын
Temps are still similar to what they were 2 and a half years ago, now that I've got 4K 120hz working properly it's common for this card to touch 80*C while gaming, and it runs slightly cooler while playing games at 4K 60hz. But, what has changed is, that the blue LEDs have stopped working, and the red LEDs flicker in the AORUS logo which is disappointing because it messes up the looks of my build. Poor quality control I guess.

I heard from an LG showroom guy that the AC reverts to normal operation (i.e reduce compressor operating %) after desired temp is reached, even if we set it at 80% after set temp is reached it'll drop down to 50% or less. Is this true? you can check with the watt meter. So operating at 100% to cool down faster and automatically AC dropping to say 80% or 50% on itself will be more efficient right?
@TechGuyCharlie4 күн бұрын
That is how an inverter AC works, once the temperature of the room reaches what you've set on the remote, the AC will automatically reduce the speed of the compressor and consume less power, like these days at night the AC in my room uses about 500-600 watts to maintain a steady temperature of 27 degrees, this is without any power saving mode, sometimes I've seen it drop to just 270 watts late night, that is much lower than what the AC would use if it was set at 40%. I always run the AC in my bedroom at 40% power and let the room temp drop slowly, it puts less stress on the AC overall, but you can let it run at full power without an issue, after all, it's designed to operate at 100% the one installed in our living room always runs at max power as its a big room to cool down.
@nitin72184 күн бұрын
Just got a 2T 3*ac for the Living room and my dad still insists we should've gone for a 1.5T 5*ac. I got the Hitachi model with 6950W cooling with advertised expansion upto 7350W. All 1.5T 5*ac only reach upto 5300W and are quoted just 4k less than the 2T Hitachi 3*ac. The room size aprox. 300sqft. Would the 1.5T have been adequate? Given the evening temp is 34C outside and AC is set at 27C (never below) which would've been the efficient choice 1.5T 5* or 2T 3* assuming all inverter ACs reduce consumption after set temp is reached ? P.s Operation time 5 hrs/day on hotter months (aprox 6 months).
@TechGuyCharlie4 күн бұрын
You made the right decision of getting a 2Ton AC, if your room is over 200sqft, I'd recommend going with 2Tons. I've recently swapped the unit in my room for a 2Ton Hot and Cold AC, you can slightly go with an oversized inverter AC because it will automatically adjust its power consumption (Tonnage) based on the room temperature. I think 2 Ton would be more efficient because the size of the condenser is quite a bit bigger compared to 1.5 tons.
