Missed a very important conversation with Rains Fall about Arthur

Athena isn't making Kratos see these visions and nightmares. It's Kratos' own nightmares because of his own past. 1:01:40 You can open chest anytime you want even during fights. You aren't holding R2... seems like you just taped it. And when grabbing an enemy... you need to be precisely looking in its direction in order to grab them. It doesn't matter how many times you pressed O...if you are not aiming precisely into the direction of the enemy... it won't work. 1:19:30 Because you pressed the right button to use Poseidon Raze. You needed to switch back to Madusa Gaze by pressing the left button. The buttons up, down, right and left allows you to switch between magic powers. What I understand is that you are press 2 buttons to use Poseidon Rage.... its only one button R2 if Poseidon Rage is already selected. If not selected then you have to press the Right button to select it.... then press R2 to use it. Same for Madusa Gave... press the Left button if not selected already... then R2 + □ to use it.

Imo the brief time with Pandora here was the building block to the new games with Atreus! But yes. Now you know most of Kratos story and why he is how he is in the Norse games. The mistakes he never wishes on his son as well. Thats why when Atreus first starts acting very cold, kills his 1st God so callusly Kratos fears the worst too :( i think while you don't have to play these games to enjoy the newer ones, it does give you some grear perspective and just what the journey really means to Kratos

Those chests which you remembered picking them all before actually were NOT BUGGED. They 'revived/refreshed' pretty much starting from the point Kratos 'falling' toward The Three Judges from the Labyrinth. Which means all HIDDEN CHESTS you found ON THE LABYRINTH prior to going back to The Three Judges can all be collected again after breaking the chain at The Three Judges. Another note.. Final Battle beside the Heart of Gaia. When Gaia's heart is glowing during the entire fight, not only Zeus can extract Health from it, Kratos can too. Regarding your upcoming plan, please do proceed as you want it. Still i recommend you to play on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY later down the road. You have what it takes to defeat it. Tips: prioritize upgrading BoC and Nemean Cestus, ignore the rest until both have been fully upgraded, the rest don't play huge role anyway if you notice. As a cherry on top, you can TURN ON those Godly Possession(s) you have collected. Side info: do you know you can START the game with Nemean Cestus via a glitch..? Meaning you can right away fight Zeus afterwards after the first arrival at The Three Judges. it's fun. Keep Grinding. Cheers

One of my biggest issues with the newer games, (this isn't an attack on those games so please don't misunderstand. I played them and think they're just okay) is that this game ends his character arc. This game's ending lets Kratos come to terms with his actions, acknowledge his mistakes, allowed him to forgive himself and finally put an end to things. The newer games reversed that progression in order for their story to work. They needed him to regress backwards as a character into someone that didn't forgive himself so that he could do it again later. For some reason, they needed his Blades of Chaos to always be near him through some magical curse that somehow wasn't lifted after the fall of the Greek pantheon. (Which kinda confuses me regarding the Blades of Athena and Blades of Exile.) Somehow Kratos is a god in the new games when in this one they make it clear that he isn't a god, he's more of a demi-god. This game even makes it clear that the Gods didn't get the way they did until after Kratos opened the box, but in the new one, Kratos doesn't even acknowledge it, he just continues to generalize all gods as evil without question. The old GoW games are awesome and there's hardly anything like them these days.

What happened to Kratos between this ending and GoW 2018 is a mystery, however there is a cannon comic book tie in that doesn’t really explain but shows a part of his journey, Kratos goes to Egypt for a while.

This detail at the end about the box took me a long time to understand, but yes, it wasn't just Zeus who was infected. Zeus: Fear, Hades: Hatred/Grief, Hera: Despair, Hermes: Plagues/Diseases, Poseidon: Pride.

You're probably the first person I've watched who acknowledges that Arthur and John are actually planning to betray Dutch here. I think if John took his family and just left the gang, that would be one thing. But this conversation makes it sound like Arthur encourages them to eventually take all the gang's savings as well, and that's pretty crazy when you think about it 😅 Justifiable? Yes. Maybe. But so far Dutch hasn't done anything that would make this okay. Especially when you consider the rest of the gang (Susan, Pearson, the girls, Uncle, etc.) depend on that money too. So if that actually happens then Dutch would have been right all along with his suspicions and fear of betrayal 😅
