Ive had the little pipe snap off the core in the engine bay. Is there a fitting that connects to the core with a large and small pipe? Or is the little pipe outlet part of the core? Sorry it’s hard to see.

@@Mk4heavenHD I know. I'm just giving you a tough time, bud. I had a FMIC covering the radiator on my 1.8t for years and I never really had a problem. The only cooling issues I've ever had were on a 3.2L R32. The first time was when the thermostat blew up in the middle of rush hour traffic, and the second time was when the pipe going to the heater core snapped and It pissed out coolant for about 200ft. 🤣🤣🤣 But I doubt you're doubling the power with a FMIC. That usually requires a bigger turbo, remapping the computer, fuel injectors, new pump, and maybe an exhaust.

If you have not done it yet you should change the fuel filter too, believe it or not vw say the fuel filter is s lifetime part and it will never need changing so much so that the fuel filter is not even on the service schedule, true story, I had an issue where I had a miss fire under high boost, it was the filter

@@fubard3v1l5reaper3 💯 agree , I did that first before replacing the pump thinking it might be blocked. Fuel filter on these cars is an essential part of the maintenance I made a video on it some time back too and what came out was bad lol.

@@MissionKid Hi mate, I’ve never seen any proof of the gain but according to research there is a gain to be had I’m sure it’s very small. Apparently wrapping the exhaust means it gets a hotter internal temp and can move gasses quicker through the system.

Great. Good to have a guy who knows what he's talking about and explains and demonstrates how it works, what the problem could be and how it can be fixed. Cutting a hole in the door though sounds a bit drastic.

My bro, the accent is definateky from home. The Flat Fuse on the side of the battery, 200A 80A can any of this two make the car to start and die? I noticed it had to do with the fuse box!

@@ThedigitalAfrican Yes bro the accent from Zim lol… I don’t think that the starting and dying is related in my experience to a fuse that might be either a spark issue or some gremlins in the electrical system.

Some cars are different mine started not opening from outside but inside would work so it might be down to the actuator aswell mate. Then one day inside stopped and I was doomed lol..

Hello Boys, I know I am just a girl but let me help you out. Don't disconnect anything. Start the car. Press the settings. Press the parking brake down , and the Bluetooth icon should turn white. Then delete the extra entries.❤

@@mandarogers2901 Yes great step to try first, but this works if it’s connected to the handbrake if it’s not been wired to the handbrake it won’t work.

It’s a really nice little mod and I used to have a set of those but but they just a waste of time because they keep failing! I brought another set of flow sequence size repeaters again, they have failed on the second pair! Unless I need to have a resistor to draw less current to stop from flowing sequence side repeaters from failing? I brought some smoked side repeaters and put LEDs in too!

Thanks mate, Yes according to both research and rtech, bar and plate is a better way to go especially on a daily driver due to the fact that they don’t heat soak as fast as a tube and fin type intercooler plus they much more robust if they are fully exposed in the front like my golf is.

Great video, very well explained and some useful tips! I’m currently installing the same pump on my car and I’m not 100% sure of the placement on the larger bottom O-Ring. I see you have placed yours in the groove, but I am seeing sources elsewhere that are saying to place it before the groove as it shouldn’t be blocking the holes. They claim that blocking these holes causes poor idling and damage to the pump?

Top tip……make sure your top plug will move before draining the oil. If it’s seized and you’ve drained the oil, you’re screwed! Got a quote from a local garage to change the gearbox oil. £100 labour, plus the oil!
