@danielgreen29754 ай бұрын
@thorsmikael9482 Not every person or street fight is the same. Anything could happen, he's just giving a demonstration if that kind of situation does occur. For you to just say, they live in a fantasy world. It is disrespectful.

Hmm, Zen has different schools because I’ve never heard it refer to human achievement…that’s not it, and sounds more like something that comes from SGI…

When you finally understand zen, you can’t stop crying, because then you understand that there is nothing to understand and no one to do the understanding and no understanding to be done.

I would seek advice about microphones because there was so much background noise and I was having to use the subtitles even though with that telling me what you were both saying I could tell that I would have had no problem understanding if the sound was better. You get so much more being able to look at them while you listen. Other than that great video! I too received enlightenment, so, I know, hope you're doing ok buddy! 🙃

He calls himself a master? What is a master of Zen? There is no Japanese term to describe a master of Zen. Anybody who would call themselves a master of Zen has an ego the size of Mount Everest. I am a Japanese monk and I can tell you there is no such thing as a Japanese Zen, Master.

I came to hear how exactly Japanese people pronounce “zen” but it’s interesting that this monk didn’t say it even once. Maybe it’s on purpose - meaning that you can’t describe and talk about the real nature of experience and being.

The word Zen is a Japanese appropriation of the term ch’an. Historically, prior to coming to China this wisdom arose from the mahasiddhas of the great continent of India. There is nothing grammatical or semiotic about Zen, and I would imagine that if a master was asked how that word is pronounced, he would simply utter the first thing that came to mind without a thought or sneeze: “achoo” or say it is pronounced “fuck,” or “have you eaten?”

His speech sounds very much like the teachings of Morihei Uyeshiba, the Founder of Aikido. O'sensei (Uyeshiba sensei) often spoke of living kindness, peace and harmony!
The problem is, how does one self evaluate oneself during the process of self development.

Im a fool but I’ll respond. Classically, the student is implored to awaken and then seek confirmation from one who has awakened prior. Also, the flavor is ordinary, and one knows what one knows as plainly as one knows one has an eyebrow. Do you go seeking confirmation regarding your eyebrow. No, in fact, you didn’t think about it until it was mentioned, but this eyebrow you have never not had and so how can you awaken to it. When this is truly realized, it will be completely ordinary and utterly hilarious. Dumbstruck with the wonder that one sought to attain what one already had.

First of the all, the first-person-view 180-degree VR is effective in this video: more martial arts videos like this would be welcome. Second, how unusual is it that an African American man is representing a traditional budo in a formal capacity, with high rank in the ryu, in the hombu, coordinating the demo of the future inheritor of the ryu? Miller’s roots in the art must be deep if he trained with the arts founder, at a time when Japanese culture was more xenophobic, so this wasn’t just window dressing for a multicultural KZbin audience.
