@@magnusb6311 ah, yes. I can appreciate the snowy location. I was raised in the Appalachian mountains so riding season was much shorter. In the southeast US, it’s more rare. And yes, the Pursuit grew on me and since I found a color that matches my Springfield I decided to add it to the garage. Both great rides. But neither bike replaces the other. I’m truly spoiled

@AnywhereRider That is great. I lived some 6 years in NC. 5 of them in Reidsville, spent a lot of time with family in Asheville. Beautiful area. But they don't know how to drive when cold. Not on bikes, nor on cars. I remember having 27 miles to work and one day I was alone the whole day outnif approx 130 people because the news had warned for black ice and someone had actually seen a patch of a 1 foot length big ice so the plant shut down hahaha

@ you are so right about southerners driving in bad weather conditions. They just can’t. The roads aren’t well treated and the drivers aren’t educated for it. It’s a bad recipe to be sure. And one other thing I notice is 4 wheel drive trucks that assume they stop faster. It’s a crazy world out there.

Thanks for the review. I just “upgraded” to Mustang and it’s a complete fail. Around 1 1/2 hours in I was so uncomfortable it was ruining the ride. It’s now for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The D3s wire under the seat into the cam bus. They are always on unless I choose to dim, turn up or down via standard bike controls. Denali has good tech support and can walk you through it. The physical install is easy enough. Deeper Cam Bus programming can be done via PC. - Flash lights with horn etc. - as for the Puig, very simple to change out. I still get wind but it’s not bad. Not as controlled as a full dresser but reduced and doesn’t cause fatigue. I’ve done over 8 hours going to Florida without a problem so the windscreen works well.

I also am a proud owner of a 2019 T120, Looks just like my old 62 T120 in design, but much better to ride. Effortless and easy. its no rocket ship but ticks all the boxes, smooth , quiet, relaxed, engine feels very under stressed. Great around town even 2 up. low seat height, it is a do anything bike. and feels well planted even on gravel roads. I live in Perth Western Australia. We have a lot of gravel roads, down side of this is keeping the bike clean.

I have a t120 and I’m a bigger type guy riding this bike and it has a fun amount of power, the look of it has you turning back and taking a second look whenever you park anywhere, it’s a beautiful, relatively powerful bike. I’ve told people it’s either the slowest sport bike or fastest mo-ped I’ve ever rode. This bike is really happy in the the power band (2500-5000, it can rev higher) but I’ve tucked my helmet under the bars and found despite my weight, 120 -130 mph is where you’ll govern out without making bigger modifications

I appreciate your dilemma! Were you able to ride them? I would ask myself what you most like to do? Do you just want to go short distances? Or can you imagine longer, multi day trips? @AnywhereRider well with Indian there's another thing that makes me asking myself a lot of things, like their recent "digital and modernize everything" I'm 40, I grew up seeing old school custom bikes (HD fst bob, dyna softail, virago etc..) so I do love having analog dials. And actually no, I have decided to motivate myself having legally a license in Japan and achieve one of my dreams to have a real bike. some health issues have made me decide to afford it in less than a year, and Indian won that bet towards my heart, but hard seats, 2 inches suspensions and digital gauges make me hesitant for most models.

@AnywhereRider hey I actually realized, I forgot to answer your first question 😅 my main goal is to have some fun and light touring, so things like the challenger or the pursuit models are too.. Your size works well on each of the models you like. Personally, I love touring on the Springfield. I added a rack and can strap anything to it. I did also choose to add a pursuit. Loved the review. Here's my situation. I am almost 77 years and in good condition. Still pretty strong and ride and Moto Guzzi California (which I love). However, I am 5'9" and the lower center of gravity of the Indian Springfield might be easier to balance in slower traffic and stop signs/lights, etc. I do need something that will work around town, but also on trips. I LOVE the front fender of the Springfield. Would love to hear from as many as are willing to give an opinion. I can't test drive one of these for 2.5 months because I am out of the country. But when I return, I'm gonna make my move. So, again, please chime in if you have any insights to help me think through this.

Nice review. Ive been on the search for a bagger, cruiser, touring sort of bike. I've narrowed down to a '23-24 Goldwing or Challenger. Not interested in having a top box, just bags. Which of the 2 do you feel is more relaxed and comfortable to ride? I'll be doing mostly local rides to 100-200 mile rides. I currently ride an MT-10 which I'm keeping but want a 2nd bike for a more relaxing ride. As someone whose ridden both, what are your thoughts?
@AnywhereRider
@AnywhereRider 4 ай бұрын
The bags are far bigger and more useful on the challenger. The Goldwing is a smooth ride but it has a telescopic suspension that takes some feel away from steering in the front. Not bad at all but something I noticed. The tech is a bit more updated on the challenger. But the Honda is solid. For me, I looked at both very hard but came down to wanting more storage. So I went Pursuit. So I can remove the top box if I want and a challenger it becomes. It is an amazing machine
