I love her passion for medicine and heart surgery, but she was cringy in this scene. Just because she dated Owen, doesn’t means he was hers to give away. He’s a human ffs and he wanted to date Cristina at the time, not Teddy. He’s not a toy to be passed around 🤦🏻‍♀️ Teddy was obviously not asking permission for anything, or didn’t want Owen wrapped up as a gift, just explaining why she can’t stay. 😅

It's a show where every time you go back and watch it, you see another intricacy to the plot. Is it just me, or did anyone else reckon that Pauline was pregnant in the last series, went out to the car with the champagne to tell her ex, and then he abandoned her. Hence the morning sickness and throwing up in the bed, and wanting to reconcile with Derek? I love the final scene where Kathy takes off her apron to symbolise that she's no longer 'Mum' to everyone, but has her own life to enjoy.

I get now why teddy was tryna leave, like she said she wanted Owen. Realizing he had Cristina, teddy became jealous and knew she would take it out on Cristina and knowing she didn’t deserve that, teddy opted to leave. In the end she she told Cristina what she wanted, teddy was absolutely floored that Cristina was willing to give him up so easily just to have what she wanted

I understand Yang has been through alot, but what happened with Burke, ahe never truly got over it and apart of her knew that and knew that if it came down to it, in the end she would choose herself over him. I understand Burke tried to change her, but there is this social bs, where the man in the relationship is the one who has to make the choices, about the relationship, essentially steers it, otherwise it becomes stagnant. For Yang, she never really tried new things to see if maybe she might like it, because deep down she was afraid that it would change her and she likes who she is. But who she is is not really able to be in a relationship, which is fine. Then proceeds to get in a relationship with Owen and knows it is complicated and it is doomed to fail, even before the plan crash and Teddy. I truly don't understand why she causes herself and others so much heartache. It is really selfish.
