If your a new artist, copy, trace, plaguerise all you want if it teaches you something! Eventually you'll learn what you like and your personal style will surface naturally.

I started watching your channel when I was 12/13 years of age. Since than I've watched every singel one of your videos and now I'm starting UNI. Strange how time flies by so fast. You've inspired me from a very young age and it's unfortunate that you no longer upload on your channel. Honestly, working digitally is kind of counter intuitive to working confidently. It's a pain in the but undoing mistakes with ink and paper, and it helps you live with the mistakes you can't get rid of. 🙂

Im just getting back into drawing when im on my break at work with a little challenge that i call 30 minute faces. I find a face i find interesting and then i draw it in my style. And i just let loose. I started this because i nearly ruined drawing for myself because i was always comparing myself to the comuc book greats

hey man i really miss your worldbuilding videos they were a huge source of inspiration for me, and actually what got me into worldbuilding initially when i was in highschool. now im in college studying art and your art is still something i think about. i always wanted to become as good at character design as you. i understand content creation like this gets hard, i just wish your old videos were still up because i loved them :( and if you ever upload again we will all still be here because we love your art 🩷

Great to hear that your making a comeback! Looking forward to seeing what you do next! However I have to say it does suck how much you've wanted to purge from this channel. Its your content and you can do what you want. But I just wanted to say how great that stuff was. The over the past year I've gone back and binged the concept art and social media playlist, or the summer of worldbuilding ones. Just wanted to say what you've made is great content that's been really helpful, and incredibly rewatchable. And I'm sure any new audience you reach with your upcoming stuff would love that content too. So just asking that you reconsider the purge, cus I for wone would certainly love to binge again while waiting for new stuff. But if its what you've got to do in order to bring the new stuff then all power to you! Glad I was there to watch it when it happened. <3

For me, this is more the Syndrome of the same structure as the face, because it has a lot of variations, but they talk to the same structure and unfortunately I am a big fan incurable so I don't think it's a bad thing the faces here look pretty similar it makes up for it with a lot of other elements and actually it has a range even bigger for faces in his most current manga, in short it's not a syndrome that bothers you compared to other works of this manga and anime industry with generic art with nothing to compensate.

I miss BB's videos but I'm happy to hear that he's getting some good work doing what he loves. Godspeed man

It would be amazing to see you study manga artists like boichi or murata. Their style is obviously manga, but a more realistic kind of drawing style. I feel that especially boichi is often in between of manga and western comics (look at "sun ken rock" or "origin" art for example)
