A better way to do this that wont damage the good battery is to insert the bad battery in a charger. Then use some jumpers to bridge the contacts of the good battery to the charger contacts. This will start the charge cycle. Of course the dead battery will have severe damage and high internal resistance

I haven't needed a pulse charger myself, I've restored the batteries by charging them with a low current for a couple of three days...and it really works well.

Thanks for this, we have just been given one of these and got it started but it is missing a petrol cap and we can find them anywhere - apparently Parkside caps are a bit different. The one we used which is a standard leaked. Any ideas where we could find one, we have put out an ad on FB marketplace..

Mine stopped working after welding 6 dewalt battery packs. Changed all possible parts and battery but still doesn’t work. Maybe firmware but there’s no info on who makes this unit. A waste of money.
