Got one.. Its the best iron Ive had for many years. Far too many are under powered now a days and simply dont do the job. This one is a winner but some people might find it a little on the heavy side

Thanks for the recent review. The KE’s available for about 75% of the original price lately and at that level I think it’s a really good value. Top tip for all printers, make sure your first layer is good before zoning-out from watching your machine. My trusty KE had a recent bed adhesion fail that made a horrible mess of my hot end. This type of failure can happen on all printers and a good first layer tends to indicate you’re in the clear.

How exactly does it work. Please use a multimeter and show what voltage it pulses at and also have a clamp meter connected so we can see the amperage

Basically it works by passing high current from the full battery through the dead battery and it melts away the dendrites / non-conductive "sludge" (for lack of a better word) inside the dead battery. That is why it's getting hot but also it's a somewhat unstable process and if too much current goes through it can cause a runaway effect and you have a chemical fire on your hands that is very hard to put out. This process to be relatively safe should be much more controlled than just touching with wires and counting seconds.

I thought this was some looney toons trolling shit and then I actually tried it and it pretty much 100% fixed it and then I realized that there was so much dust building up on the outside part of the fan and I cleaned it and it’s totally gone Thank you random internet person

actually dont do this can harm your motor instead open the case and stop the fan in middle if your blades are from plastic you can stop it on the blades i dont fell much pain so i do it even though i dont have plastic fans my pc case fans sometimes do quiet grinding noise so i pop the side panel out and instead of lightly kicking it now i stop the fan for like a split second
