Hi, Nimesh! :D Yes, you can take personal care over 100ml/100g in your check-in bag. You can also have personal care over 100ml/100g in your carry-on bag if it applies to exceptions, such as baby products, medical (prescription and non-prescription) items and dietary requirements.

Hello i am not clear about the cigarettes thing. Can you clear me do you mean we can carry 1 unopened packet of cigarette in check in not more than 1 packet? and one opened in hand carry??
@TheAustralianCorner
@TheAustralianCorner 9 ай бұрын
Hi Poozana :) Sure, I can make it clearer :) According to the Australia Border Force (as of today), "You are allowed to bring in duty-free: one unopen packet of up to 25 cigarettes or 25 grams of other tobacco products; AND one open packet of cigarettes.". :) Exceptions: "If you bring in more than your duty free allowance for tobacco and cigarettes, you’ll need to pay duty on all of your tobacco and cigarettes, not just on the excess." :D

Bzzzt ! Wrong. Sorry at 6m10sec your reference to Chewing Tobacco. This "might" be allowed coming into several of Australia's Eastern States' airports, but the State of Western Australia banned chewing tobacco under state law, several decades ago. I remember it being in the news, back when I lived in WA. For most other things you're right, and generally speaking, "mostly the same" rules apply to Australia's neighbour, New Zealand.. Just a point with NZ especially, they don't mind so much if your shoes or walking boots ARE dirty, but please do declare them to the Customs and Border Officers. They will take them away and clean them for you free of charge, and return them a few minutes later. They'd rather do that, than risk chance of soil-borne diseases being spread in NZ.
@TheAustralianCorner
@TheAustralianCorner 9 ай бұрын
Hi, Kiwi Catherine :) Thank you for your comment. Well, according to the Australian Border Force website: "You can bring in up to 1.5 kilograms of smokeless tobacco (chewing tobacco or snuff) for personal use, but you will have to pay duty on any tobacco above 25 grams (only 25 grams is allowed duty-free)." It does not specify any state or territory that does not allow the entry of "chewing tobacco". If you have the information about it, please share it with us :) It would be great to add more information to this topic. Also, thank you for sharing information about NZ :) I have plans to visit this beautiful country this year :D

Hi Donnie. I am not sure if it was a compliment or an offence. Anyway, I was not born India, and even if I was, what's the problem with it? Any person on this planet, regardless of nationality, deserves respect. Also, why does it need to be someone from Australia? haha I am pretty sure there are so many TV/KZbin channels with Australian journalists out there. :) Feel free to follow them. Last but not least, I am proud to be a foreign person living in Australia and have English as a second language. I am not sure if you speak a second language but, it requires hard work and dedication. I still have a lot to learn, but I am proud of having an open mind to live in a multicultural country and accept the differences. We'll keep producing and sharing free information in this channel for those who want to be informed and respect each other. :)

@TheAustralianCorner
@TheAustralianCorner 9 ай бұрын
You’re welcome, Lince 😃 1- Here in Australia, there are a few popular job search websites, such as Seek and Indeed. You can also search online for places where they have gambling premises and go in person to hand out your resume. One piece of advice: go prepared to work. Sometimes, you are invited for a trial when you talk to them. 🙏🏻😃 2- The course costs around $150. It may vary depending on the school/training institution. And you’re right. Lately, scams are everywhere 😬🤨 On this website, you can find the locations of approved training providers. Then, you’re covered. www.liquorandgaming.nsw.gov.au/working-in-the-industry/training-to-work-in-the-industry/getting-trained/find-an-approved-training-provider 3- To be honest, I'm not sure about Sydney job opportunities at the moment. However, as you speak English and will complete the course, I believe you can get an opportunity. It will depend on the area where you will search for a job. They might require as well the RSA course (Responsible Service of Alcohol) as the premises will serve alcohol and gambling services. Furthermore, they might ask for a hospitality/bar/gaming experience. I hope it helps, Lince. 😃 I wish you all the best in this journey. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me. 😃

It won’t be a problem. According to Home Affairs: “A reasonable amount is considered an amount to cover the duration of the flight, allowing for any delays.” “It is recommended that you take in your carry-on baggage only what is needed for the flight and pack the rest in your checked baggage.” If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. 😀🙌

There is a lot of posts going around pointing to the fact that Aborigines already have a disproportionate representation in the Australian Government. This is a very naive understanding of the reality. These Aboriginal parliamentarians represent their chosen POLITICAL PARTY. They do not represent you or the first nation. This is just one of hundreds of dubious methods and half truths being used to get you to vote no

You create a problem, then you offer a solution, if people question it, start to divide, create a fear, then when it's realised the idea isn't standing up to challenge, instill more fear, telling of unknown consequences by your non compliance. It's about controlling a situation, taking away another freedom, by locking it in so you can not go back, YES gives control, NO takes it back. Don't surrender another free choice, control is what it's about.

There were so many signs out there with “Yes” and “No”, and so many people didn’t even know what it was about. The video wasn’t and never intended to give any opinion about the topic. Regarding the “audio”, 😅 I have tried my best to use basic and simple words when recording the videos to ensure everyone who lives abroad can understand. 🙌🙏🏻😃 That’s why we use charts, images, numbers and vectors to illustrate the topic and make it easier. 🙌😃 We’ll work on it to make it much easier to understand.
