I get cheap fakes but i dont get fakes being peddled ABOVE retail pricing at major online selling sites like amazon and ebay. Its the first sign of a fake. These watches can be bought in store and online direct from swatch for immediate delivery or pickup and buyers are assurred of it being original.

If you don't know how to measure correctly with a caliper, there is little point in using it. Especially with electronic ones. Measure from the front at the tips where there are extra notches and NOT from the back anywhere. At least if you want to achieve exact results.

It may be the lighting but the original has a little 's' lasered/etched on the face just right of the hands fulcrum. Yours has it at the beginning but the "genuine" watch at the end doesn't seem to.

The easiest way to see fake is looking at small white arrow on second hand in 12oclock position. On the real swatch the arrow iis on the Omega name but on the fake that same arrow is on the Swatch name under the Omega name in the 12oclock position.

Why didn’t you open the case on the real one to compare? Also the movement on the second hand mimics the movement on an automatic vs the real one is quartz movement. On mine, open the battery cover and you’ll find a decoy battery. The real battery is underneath, you’ll see it when you open the case back. I never would have bought it had I known.

My favorite watch is a Berny Titanium/Saphire dresser. I also have the orange faced compressor - totally fun watch to wear once I changed the band, the band was useless as the loops were too big to be functional.

I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of gussl. Their timepieces are of exceptional quality.
