I have a Honduras dialect and Chilean dialect mixed together, but my accent is weird, and idk what it's called. My accent in Spanish is weird because I have a pronunciation impediment from having braces for too long, and it isn’t super noticeable in Spanish, but it still affects my accent in a way. It is super noticeable when I switch back to English or just... speaking English in general(and other languages like Russian and Japanese).

For Spain, it really depends on where you are, but I think it's a pretty crisp and clear Spanish, once you get used to the "th" sound. However, the accents from Andalucia and the Canary Islands are pretty difficult!

They always use the uneducated Puerto Rican accent, not the educated one, which doesn't replace the Rs with L. But even the uneducated accent doesn't replace ALL Rs with Ls. Only those followed by a consonants (non-vowel). They would not say Puelto Lico. They might say Puelto Rico. They wouldn't say caletilla for carretilla. If the R is followed by a consonant, for example P, B, T, then they might use an L. Also if a word ends with an R. For example, for correr they might say correl. Again, that's the uneducated, ghetto accent, not the official accent. A teacher or a government official would not speak that way.

As a greek i can reassure you that she didnt say "Barthelona" in the video, she said "Parthenonas". Barcelona in greek is Βαρκελώνη and sounds like "Varkelóni" Living abroad, many times i hear some people talking and i am thinking that they speak greek and as i can hear closely i realise that they speak spanish🤭

Is this a feel good session or is it a critical analysis? Spanish is not her 1st language! Let's be honest. She is able to communicate but she makes mistakes that no native Spanish speaker makes. My Spanish is better and it is the 3rd language I learned. Even with all of my Mexican slang.

She's probably A2 or very low B1. Her Spansh is pretty bad. 7/10 is a B2 score. She's more like a 3/10.

Yo soy gringa y tuve la gran oportunidad de vivir en Colombia durante mi niñez. Hace 40 y pico de años que regresé a mi país (EEUU) y muchas veces los colombianos me llaman rola. Me da risa, pero igualmente siento mucho orgullo. Aún hablo el Español perfectamente sin ningún tipo de acento extranjero al igual que el Inglés. Me parece que Cortéz se equivoca mucho y habla mucho de nada.

Can someone recommend a video where I can hear Spanish spoken in a Spanish accent? Any accent is fine. I just want to hear some Spanish spoken, preferably by someone from Spain. I will try another search. Edit: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anWxpqKmrK6VmLc Creator interviews people from Madrid.

For clarification, it’s worth noting that languages in Spain other than Spanish are regional languages, meaning they are neither spoken nor official outside their respective regions.
