It's wild that they tried to redo Mookie's Last Christmas and it sounds so much worse. This version is this gorgeous piece of power pop that blooms and is a kind of monument to grief, and the versions the band has uploaded all feel more like bad covers. I think this is my favorite iteration of the band, there's so much going on, and the musicianship is so tight. Anthony Green's vocals give a lot of emotionality that fits the really melodramatic lyrics. The other vocalist is good, no shade on him, but the sound of that era of Saosin is farther removed from the more Shellac-y and Sunny Day Real Estate-y sounds inflected with modern hardcore sounds on this release. Also Anthony Green goes to some Usurp Synapse-y places with his harsh vocals, which fucks.

I feel bad for matt he was nothing but loyal to blink 182 for years and the moment they thought or new tom was coming back they were like we don't need our back up character time to get your original cast member this just proves that some people in your life are happy and love to have until they don't they'll cast you out as easy as that

I get that for sure but I’m sure Matt knew before he joined that if Tom ever wanted to come back then he’s back in no questions. Matt also said he’s been a huge fan of Blink and was happy to just be able to do his part. Tom also sent Matt a message thanking him for keeping the band alive and how much he appreciated him and Alkaline Trio. All respect 🤟🏻🤟🏻

Selama SMA + kuliah tiap latihan + manggung bawain lagi blink182. Kala itu ga selegend skr, dulu bawain lagu Blink sll tampak terdiskreditkan atmosfir dan peradaban musik pd zamannya. Kuliah bikin lagu dng formasi bertiga juga bikin lagu sndiri dng influence terbesar Blink182, NoFX dan Hi Standard. Skr Blink182 makin hype di kaula gen Z. seneng aja Tom be back.
