Good morning, doctor. In January of this year 2024, I had surgery on my vocal cords due to this disease. Gradually, I have noticed strength in my voice. My specific question is: how likely are cases of total voice loss after surgeries? Additionally, do speech therapy sessions with speech-language pathologists help in treating (at least in terms of voice quality) this disease?

Thank you so much for this information. I am 9 months post covid and have not felt the same since with shortness of breath with exercise, headaches, brain fog and palpitations. I'm taking Natokinase which took away the palpitations and headaches. I love the smoothie ideas and will definitely try these. ❤

I’m desperate for help with a CSF Leak down my throat. I assume sphenoid or ethmoid, maybe cribiform plate. No one believes me.

I have ILO and severe asthma… it’s an absolute nightmare. One sets the other off.. it’s like breathing through a very small straw. I wasn’t responding to my asthma treatment fully and when they put the camera down they noticed my larynx closes when it’s not supposed to. It’s the absolute worst . I also have terrible allergies and post nasal drip which sets my ILO off too…It freaks out paramedics as my strider sounds like I’m having an allergic reaction and I have to try and tell them it’s ILO … very misunderstood disorder and not enough professionals know about this

7:55 - oh man, I hear that. Took me six years of suffering to be diagnosed with midfacial segment pain syndrome. In that time I had twelve courses of antibiotics, steroids, countless packets of Sudafed, Nurofen and nasal sprays, an ENT perform a septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgery, an allergist tell me I was allergic to rye grass resulting in 18 months of immunotherapy injections (later found out from a second allergist I'm not allergic to anything), cat-scans, MRI's, blood tests, briefly saw a quack naturopath, nerve blockers, and experimentations with Amitriptyline, Mirtazapine, Duloxetine, Gabapentin and Seroquel with varying degrees of success. All up I've spent over $20,000, countless days of time off work, lost friends, lost jobs and am still not 'cured'. Just had a pulsed radio-frequency procedure performed on my mid facial area last week. Here's hoping.
