I have ILO and severe asthma… it’s an absolute nightmare. One sets the other off.. it’s like breathing through a very small straw. I wasn’t responding to my asthma treatment fully and when they put the camera down they noticed my larynx closes when it’s not supposed to. It’s the absolute worst . I also have terrible allergies and post nasal drip which sets my ILO off too…It freaks out paramedics as my strider sounds like I’m having an allergic reaction and I have to try and tell them it’s ILO … very misunderstood disorder and not enough professionals know about this
