May Nutmeg R.I.P [Rest In Peace], such a recently discovered cat to me and already sobbing within less than an 20 minutes of knowing about this cat, She didn't deserve the pain and suffering she went through, I hope she is in a better place where she doesn't have to endure or suffer like this ever again.

I entered thinking this was a mildly sad little video about a little cat who had a wonderful life and died peacefully, or maybe got adopted. What I saw and heard was a completely different story with not nearly as much happiness and rainbows and hope. I can understand how it feels to let a cat go; it's sad, like losing a family member. They WERE a family member. I know this was a month ago, but the world will sympathise, you will walk the path you have always walked, and life will go on. You don't always need to paper a smile over your face. Maybe I didn't have to tell you that. But I can tell you this. When you buried Nutmeg and planted flowers, that was life anew. It won't be the same, but change is a thing; it comes, it dances on your doorstep and sometimes it invites itself in, and then it leaves. May the grass beneath your feet always smile at you, the clouds in the sky always lessen the rain that befalls your head, and the things you see always seem a little light-hearted and bright. Yes. File a legal complaint against this bad clinic. Carefully tell us the name of the first vet clinic. There is a special place in hell for those who harm the innocents of this world whether a child or an animal. You were blessed to share time with this kitten and you were the one to comfort her when she was victimized. You will see her again in the next world when it is your time to pass, I am sure she will greet you with vibrant life energy. She will visit you when those veils between worlds are the thinnest. I believe this...She reminds me of a cat we saved from a neighbor stabbing him. He was named Mr. Pepperson. He looked like he was the son of our oldest cat, so we named him so. He was nursed back to health and litter trained. A neighbor stabbed him so he had a hole in his side about the size of two shillings. We bandaged it and cleaned it daily and he was closed up in 10 days. He disappeared one day when I let him walk outside. He had to walk outside daily. Our old neighbors were heard whispering about this cat and I think they kidnapped him. They are the ones who tried to kill him. All we can do is to love the innocent, be kind, protect the innocent, fight evil, and shame evil people. Go.d does the rest...

Well, I guess some people will never learn, just keep giving your pets dangerous stuff, I have given my pets coloidal silver as antibiotic for everything, milk thistle capsules for their livers and many other things that have literally saved their lives multiple times, I don't need no doctor cause all they do is administer deadly poison unless there's a surgery then you go to the vet cause that's their area of expertise. Heck a couple of times my cat couldn't go to the bathroom and I even got rid of his problem with crystals, why? because I care about them and I have studied animal physiology for years in my spare time and I have done my research, whereas if you just go around and buy whatever they "recommend" you that's lazy and foolish IMO. Ignorance sells, that's the reason why humanity is doomed and keeps getting controlled by other people who are just slightly smarter.

I wonder if... my, cat was ever given this drug before we got her from my dad's friend.... she'd had siezures, just like this, most of her life, almost every couple hours a day... we slowly took her off her siezure meds, and they actually started to go away, to where she only had siezures once every day or so, which was awesome, then one day she had a big siezurr qhich resulted in a stroke, a loss of oxygen, and damage to her brain... so we had to put her down... 5 years later and I still cry about it... she was my first real pet that wasnt a fish, and, I had her for about 5 years... we were the same age too when she passed... this, just made me break down sobbing while holding our new kitten we just got, crying, saying that I'd never let this happen to either of the two kittens.... Zoe, would've been 16 years old here in a few days... right along woth me..... I'm so, so sorry, for your loss of Nutmeg... she looked to be such a sweet, amazing little girl- ❤

It’s very sad when vets absolutely make pets suffer and be completely dismissive about it. This is wrong on many levels. I would curse every swear word to those idiotic vets for doing this to this poor kitten.

My cat has oral squamous cell carcinoma as of December 2023. The vets charge between $3000 and $10,000 for treatment and surgery. In contrast, a friend of mine had spinal surgery done on his horse for $3500. This surgery for the tumor in my cat's mouth could actually kill my cat, to which I would have no recourse. I decided against this. I do not trust vets or even human doctors anymore. They are about robbing you blind and I seriously doubt the competence of a lot of these practitioners. They are not your friends. I removed my cat from all processed food back in December 2023. I cook his meals(boil) with turmeric and black pepper. His diet also consists of a variety of raw meats, liver, hearts, salmon, ground beef, and ground venison. I forgot to mention, he was really underweight and his fur had become extremely course back in December of 2023. Since I have changed his diet, his weight has rebounded and his fur has become a lot softer. The tumor remains but his personality is the same. It is a lot of work but I would do anything to make him comfortable. I only wish I had the presence of mind to have done this from the very beginning. Stay away from canned foods, especially tuna. Stay away from processed foods in general. Not even once in awhile.

You didnt killed the cat the vet which used the convenia drug on this kitten killed the cat this kind of drug is used on kittens that are at least 8 week old the vet was able at least to put you in a schedule when he/she was thinking its the time i bet this vets became actually "veterinarian" thanks to plagiarism I bet this kitten wasnt even 8 weeks older it should look double than she was in the video before

I am very sorry you experienced this heartbreaking loss of Nutmeg. This video shows how much you cared about her and how much joy she experienced in the short time she was with you. You took her in and did what you believed was best for her based on the information given by a veterinarian. What resulted was tragic but not your fault. I also experienced the loss of my beloved 5 year old kitty due to vet error and I also wish I had not listened to the vet. But I have to remind myself that I did the best I could at the time. Also, my cats have gotten Convenia multiple times and I had no idea it could be so dangerous so thank you for educating me. Mostly, thanks for sharing Nutmeg’s story.

Things like this are why i refuse to trust the pharmaceutical industry. not only because Pfizer just gets broad appeal to put whatever they feel like into the market, but because doctors and vets like this will just prescribe it with zero care for the possible consequences to people that otherwise trust them unconditionally. If a doctor is telling you a drug is "perfectly safe" you should immediately run, cause they're probably making a killing selling it.

I really hate vets that are soo incompetent as those that advise a medication that they didn't heard, read or learn anything about and i mean that because how can you advise something that you don't know the side effects of it? One thing to note, you should never hold a kitten while it’s having a seizure as it can cause further distress, which is probably why she moaned when you picked her up. You should only do that if it’s near stairs or a ledge or a fragile object. I don’t blame you at all! I would’ve wanted to do the same, to comfort her as she needed comfort. But for future reference, do not pick up a kitten if it’s having a seizure. God bless you and sweet Nutmeg 🙏🏼
