This is an adhesive nylon tape. I use it for reinforcement. If it is difficult to obtain an adhesive nylon tape, you can just apply the adhesive to a thin nylon fabric with a thickness of about 0.2mm and use it. I used it that way at first. Thank you.

1.3t means that the leather thickness is 1.3mm. t = Unit of thickness.

@@bitchen Oh mais ça ne sera pas dans l'immédiat. J'ai beaucoup d'activités et peu de temps libre. Par contre je suis perplexe : Vous arrivez à retourner l'ouvrage sans qu'il ne soit froissé, avec toute l'épaisseur qu'il contient.

1st, as usual, amazing work! Huge fan. My question is at 36:30 you use a pricking awl carefully, why choose that over your irons? And possibly next, consider finding if your suppliers would ship internationally for commission. I live in South Africa and no leather shops sell webtex or similar, leather backing or the adhesive nylon tape and foam/sponge.

You don't necessarily have to use an awl for the work you mentioned, but using an awl is a way to avoid mistakes.

Just the way you cut the paper for the zipper and strap at 1:44 is beyond confusing to me you cut the paper then taped it together then cut it again. you cut the red line ok then taped it to make one piece but why did you cut it again & where did you cut it? if you dont say what the overall length should be on those pieces wont that make the whole pattern pointless ? can you just tell me overall length of those 3 pieces what it should b?

La machine dont vous parlez est une machine permettant de couper finement les bords du cuir. Bien sûr, la production est possible sans ce travail. Vous pouvez également effectuer un travail d'esquive à la main. Lorsque vous travaillez le cuir, pour replier un peu mieux la partie pliée du cuir, De cette façon, nous pouvons réduire un peu l’épaisseur.

말씀 하신 대로 내부에는 3호 외부에는 5호를 사용했습니다. 그리고 제가 사용한 지퍼는 YKK 지퍼 입니다. 감사합니다.

Il semble que deux types de renforcement aient été utilisés dans cette vidéo. La première gomme adhésive noire sert à augmenter légèrement le volume et la résistance du cuir. La deuxième échelle (L/B) que j'ai utilisée servait à aider à ouvrir et à fermer la fermeture éclair.

I think you are talking about the edge of the leather. The thickness of this part will vary slightly depending on the strength of the leather. In the video, it is about 1mm. When I do this work, I tend to look at the feel of the leather bending rather than the exact thickness.

말씀 하신 대로 외부 쪽에서 사선 모양이 보이도록 하는 이유도 있고요. 만약 양면 사선 바느질로 작업을 하실 계획이었다면 어느 쪽으로 치즐 작업을 하셔도 무방하지만, 아무래도 치즐이 들어 가는 쪽의 구멍 모양이 조금은 깔끔해서 양면 사선 이던 단면 사선 이던 저는 겉 면에서 안쪽으로 치즐 작업을 하는 편입니다. 감사합니다.

피할 부분의 폭을 말씀하시는 것인가요? 아니면 두께를 말씀하시는지요. 폭은 대략 4~5mm 내외면 좋고요. 두께는 저는 약 1mm 정도로 하고 있습니다.
