I have been looking high and low recently for insights to help me with my most ambitious project ever - a randoseru for my little girl. Lo and behold, I stumble on something close on my favourite leathercrafting channel. Of course, it has all the qualities I love in bitchen work - elegant, minimal frills, well-thought-out design and functionality. It's a little smaller than my ideal size, but if I fail to find a pattern for an actual randoseru this will definitely be my alternative!

@@bitchen sorry I didn't mean to sound rude and disagree with you, it's just that I've had a bad experience with the spring snap fastener, they usually damage and crack the leather attached to their base, especially when that leather is currently in a softer state. (Like when it gets wet or is just recently cleaned/moisturized) Or after using them for a long time they can damage the leather. That's just a friendly opinion. By the way where did you buy your brass accessories for the strap, handle, and lock? They look amazing and sturdy. Keep safe and God bless you! 😊❤❤❤

@@sherwin4ever Not because of the snap button, but because you have to pull the leather to open the lid. But in my experience, I don't think I've ever seen the leather go bad after using it that much. Of course, everyone's opinion is different. We respect your opinion. thank you

@@bitchen it happened to my wallet, the leather seems like goat/lamb/sheep leather so its soft. The snap is super tight so sometimes you'll need to pull harder to open the coin pocket. I try to open it very carefully now, I insert my finger in the sides very carefully unti they need to be sepsrated carefulle. Sometimes I insert starting with my finger nails towards the snap. I've seen some snap buttons that are softer and easy to open, maybe they are the more expensive kinds.

Hello, as always, I truly admire your work and your impeccable craftsmanship. I would like to attempt to make this beautiful back pack for my daughter. I realize that you do not include overall dimension for your pattern pieces, especially the larger pieces. I am wondering if you might be able to give the dimensions for the larger pattern pieces, especially those that will not fit on one sheet of copy paper. In pattern A you made an additional cut after sticking the two pieces together What are the final dimensions for pattern A,B,C, and D. Hope I am not asking for too much. I look forward to your reply, and to making this beautiful backpack.

In most printers you can select print on multiple pages, with cut lines. We print these larger patterns on a regular basis with standard USA paper. I recommend the Foxit PDF reader as it is really the best free PDF version out there. I work in data and use reports from many agencies and they all send PDF and Adobe just does not allow data to be copied or added. Under Print, select Multiple pages per sheet, or print normal and cut out and attach to poster board. We tape directly to the leather. Hope this helps.
