I don't want to be too critical, because all-in-all it was a decent video. but... you missed some important steps and a couple of errors. As noted in earlier the 6 torx bolts are E10 not E11. I suspect E11 will work because of the torx pattern & low torque required, but use E10. I may have missed it, but I saw nothing on the torque converter and the fluid in it. Some of the 722.9's have access to the torque converter and some don't. It is an access port (w/black rubber cover) just in front of the oil pan you were working on. There is a process for that which involves leaving the car in neutral and turning the crank to find the drain for the torque converter. The 6 torx bolts due have a torque based installation it is 4 newton-meters (which is just past finger tight) plus 180 degree turn. They are stretch bolts and too much tightening will snap them. Also, while running once the tranny is above 35 celcius (on your way up to the 45 celcius fully warm operating temperature) you should get in the car foot on the brake and cycle through the gears P-N-R-D1-D2 and back a couple of times. For the pump I found a $50 one that worked great on Amazon (LainKeen). Without a lift this job can be quite messy.

The bolts are all e10’s, get a flat head and pop the level plug completely into the pan so you can get most the fluid out. Also you waisted a shit ton of fluid.
@DriftMagic10 күн бұрын
The fluid was put into a clean bucket and then sifted before putting it back into the container. So no, not really.
@Toyotatech8610 күн бұрын
@ you mixed clean fluid with dirty fluid. It’s dirty now. “Sifting” it isn’t gonna do anything. So yes really. Specially if the old fluid was so contaminated it made your transmission shift funny.
@DriftMagic10 күн бұрын
@Toyotatech86 it wasn’t the oil to begin with at all. It was the crank angle sensor that was going out. Replaced that and issues went away.
@DriftMagic10 күн бұрын
@Toyotatech86 also, luckily I can afford to waste a quart of oil in the process.

Hi 😅. I have oil build up on the spark ( the 2 part of it) i changed it...then i found pcv not work...i changed it....but what is the cause for oil ?
@DriftMagicАй бұрын
Could be several things to be honest. If pcv system it working you may have a surplus of oil being thrown into your intake. Which can be caused by excessive pressure in the lower portion of the motor (oil pan). Also can be cause by a few things. How many miles does your car have?
