I first heard this song, ironically enough, in a Kerbal Space Program video demonstrating a Katyusha rocket launcher replica.

It disgusts me what they have turned being in the US military into turning them into these things for the military industrial complex to test gadgets and gizmos on something of honor and dignity Valor and for nothing never nothing but you know what I mean

Funny how this came out just before 9/11, to further crystallise recruitment for a war the West should never have fought.

Il est incroyable ce film Jai bien aimé

in ww2 I would of been one of these men but to tell you the truth I'm glad I'm here today to see this beautiful world as being new with new technology and stuff I would have missed out on all this if I was in ww2 its sad that I'm gonna die in another 60 yrs and someone else is gonna say this same phrase I wish we could live forever as young men and woman and never get old but we cant change how god made us so as we grow old the worlds will change new restaurants will be built new cars new homes new roads even new military and we wont live to see it all prosper

These are the kind of movies that makes me want to be more. After this movie, I wish I went into the coast guard after high school 😂

Watched The Pacific awhile ago, that show had me in tears by the last two episodes. I have yet to see Band Of Brothers. The heroism of these men during the war is inspiring. 🫡

My uncle defended Eisenborne Ridge during the Battle of the Bulge as a replacement non com attached to the 99th Division. It was the only place the Germans didn’t break through.

This is an eerily haunting yet beautiful piece of music - I can listen to it over and over again and never get tired of listening to it. It is also highly fitting as the title music of such an excellent wartime series that "The Pacific" was and will always be. ❤❤❤
