The 3D stuff isn’t really sculpting. It’s simply designing. The printer does the sculpting. That’s why I’m so glad that someone still has the cojones to actually post a video where he sculpts a mini by hand, from scratch. Kudos to you Sir!!!

Eh, I don't think one would/should paint all on the sprue but I often prime the whole sprue and in case of terrain sometimes do some basic drybrushing already. Fixing the cutout damage is super fast after assembly.
@SwampRatMiniatures14 күн бұрын
Interesting, I can see it working well for terrain to be fair as a lot of the rougher edges would get covered up when you slot the pieces together

Why would sandbags on the turret be nonsensical? They did that in ww2 and I am pretty sure still do it sometimes. The sand breaks up the bullets and eats the energy pretty dang well, so slapping it on the tank would be good armor.. maybe not for plasma weapons, but you know

These videos are a much higher quality than some of the ones from the bigger warhammer channels, so I think they deserve a lot more popularity than they're getting. That being said, I love the idea of imperial guard with gretchin, the painting techniques are something I try to copy with my own models and the creativity of your extra added kit bashed bits is so inspiring. And the model looks awesome too.

Damn that looks sick! the "only purple" for the tank was definitely the right call, made your added details like the lighting effects and the little extra guys really pop If you do end up using that demolisher canon for something, might I suggest having a grot stick out of it? :P Theres quite a famous photo of a WW2 german sturmtiger with a soldier leaning out of the barrel, and I think these lovely little green guys really would clamber around and into everything
