This was hecka awesome video! even gave me a idea on a miniature that i've hit a wall with. Silly question, if you where to make magical or for WH40K reference warp flame what colors would you use and would you follow the same light to dark method as if paint normal flames?

Thank you dude glad you liked! Ahhh I was actually debating doing a kinda sci fi/fantasy version of this in the video but ran out of time!! I would probably probably do the same process (light to dark) starting with a really bright green, something like moot green, maybe even make it brighter by mixing in a pale yellow, and then come out to something like a sybarite green, warpstone glow (both citadel) or wizards orb (army painter) colour for the darker points, something like that could work quite well, but I could see it working with a range of colours really, a purple or blue version could look pretty awesome. I think if you follow this process but just sub in equivalent light/dark paints of other colours you can get a good effect going!

Do you think that this method can be viable to create a spell effect for some wizard mini? Question aside, the blue for the ignition effect is a very nice touch. Great job!

Definitely, I was thinking of making something similar for this video but didn’t have time in the end, could easily be done using this same technique though! Thank you though my man, appreciate you watching and commenting as always!

I don't know if you really do terrain, but do you think this could be modified for that? As in: a little bit of wire and some cotton to make a campfire or something?

I do indeed! I haven’t used this for terrain purposes yet but saw a lot of possibilities as I was building these, so I definitely think so. Might try out some ideas and do a video on them in the future!
