I've been having fun with a Meade 2045 using the battery powered RA motor and tripod legs. It's a nice little telescope that I'm using a ZWO ASI120mc camera with and an HP webcam. I'm waiting for a Meade LX70 mount and rings to give the little scope a run at astrophotography while I sit at an 8" dob scanning the sky. The 2045 is a neat classic scope!

It appears the satellite is defunct, because most active satellites are not tumbling. They must hold a fixed attitude in space to perform their functions, and if they become unable to do that, their missions are over. With a larger telescope and a astronomical video camera, more satellites and even background stars will appear too.
