I just received mine from BladeHQ for $119 delivered. I love daggers and this is one bad MOFO. Very well made. I like to buy American but $500 is a lot of dough. After seeing your review I was sold! Thanks brother!

Great knife! The good thing about a Harsey style dagger is that the steel really doesn't matter. As long as the tip is strong enough any material will do. So $150 dagger will deliver the same exact result as a $1.500 one. I also like the injection molded sheath. I know it's not as sexy as kydex but it's more durable (kydex can break at very low temps) and it doesn't scratch up and dull your knife like kydex does.

You asked- my favorite size to EDC and my favorite knife to EDC : The Barracuda by Brushing Knife Company. Blade is close to 10” long. I no longer carry “off the shelf “blades unless they too are 100% handmade. Too many knife makers out there who will build a knife to YOUR spec. And, nobody else will have it👍 My outdoor knife is a custom built one by Ankura Knife Company, by Joshua Only off the shell producer I carry is Bone Tactical by Greg Tambone. 100% handmade off the shelf. Heat treated is spot on and very important imo. And he makes the BEST tactical “items” on the market, imo. Tops knives 👍 for off the shelf. Their heat treat 👍 Thanks for posting.

Awesome blade. My nephew carried this blade in Syria while in the Army Unfortunately I bought them back before they figured out the problem with the rust under the stonewash. Have the same issue with my tahoma field knife. They have since solved that issue, at least they said they did on Scab's live chat with them
@bigjayroadstar17006 күн бұрын
@ChrisvilleUSA if you contact TOPS KNIVES and let them know your black river wash started rusting under the coating they will reprocess the blade with the new cerakote colors they are using. Your knife comes back like it's brand new.

This is an awesome Condor. Mine came dull though. I got it tuned up and am happy with it. The sheath on the other hand is the worst that ive ever received from condor. The sheath is the thinnest kydex ive ever seen. In my opinion, the sheath is trash. The leather on it is nice. I would have been much happier with a leather sheath. Have a great day
@bigjayroadstar17006 күн бұрын
@ChrisvilleUSA one thing I have noticed is Condors quality control when it comes to sharpening definitely needs to be improved. I have had some very sharp and very dull. I appreciate you watching. Have a great day.

The original Fairbairn-Sykes were intended to have sharp edges. A lot of the ones which hit the market after the war were from stock armories and hadn't been service sharpened, which is where the idea that they were not sharp comes from.

Do you prefer this over the mercenary? Or better yet what is your favorite T Kell large blade? Thanks
@bigjayroadstar170012 күн бұрын
@wolverinegnr man, this is a hard question for me, i really love both, but if push came to shove, I'd gravitate towards the FMF. I just really love the way clip point look. Both the FMF and mercenary perform equally, so it comes down to looks for me.
