@markwilkerson-dz8pe i stripped the coating off. It's so much better. Very easy to do with citristrip you get at home depot.

no coating if you're not oiling your knife then you are going to see. rust. the coating comes off in my food or my meat just take care of your knifes that's the only reason I haven't bought it yet good design knife company's having some one design something out of there wheel house if there worried about staning the knife use stainless steels this why I have one esee good knife striped the coating won't do it again
