It is absolutely insane to see how much SEGE has grown and in such a short time; what an epic convention! Pinky's Revenge, fun or not, sounds like an instant no if it's that hot; hard pass...sorry guys. lol Cool Sega card additions. Physical Forever! That's how we are with movies; we don't buy ALL we see, just the things we want to make sure we have physical versions/copies/backups of. Whoa, shaming the liners who got no VIP, geez! j/k of course. Oh, those custom GB and GBA are so cute. Ha ha, Square Peg video-bomb! Agreed--gotta price your stuff peeps; if it doesn't have a price, we don't ask and walk away. Speaking of BBQ, we had Telesplash fly in from Washington state and we got to introduce him to burnt ends; do they have burnt ends in SC? We enjoy the LEGO games but haven't played any of the handheld offerings to see how they hold up--yay? Nay? What's your son's review? You know we love weird stuff too, AND we recently found that same Tamagotchi cart and nabbed one just because...weird. lol Glad you found some fun stuff for the kids too, that's awesome man! The Alwa's Collection seems pretty cool. Cool on the box and manual bundle. Also, Snowboard Kidz, I dunno if it's a KZbin thing but I hear about it all the time, so you have plenty of fellow community fans and are not alone! It would be so fantastic to get to meet YOU someday. And absolutely have cash for deals--cash is king at conventions! Very nice on ActRaiser, such a good game and incredible soundtrack. Also agree on being nice--that's just great advice in general; being nice costs nothing. Conventions with friends are the absolute best; we'll have an experience video for our MoGameCon weekend coming soon after the floor tour drops. We do convention videos frequently and June and July have been very busy months if anybody wants to see what we've been up to and more, to get an idea of what TO expect from conventions as we put them front and center.

I’m honestly glad Sunsoft lost the Terminator license as I would have never cared about, let alone played it! I did not enjoy the Terminator, so I wouldn’t have ever tried it. It would have also never gotten a NSO rerelease, as that is what got me to play the game again. I honestly would’ve forgotten about Silius without NSO, and I really don’t understand the hate it gets! Today, I can honestly as that Journey to Silius is my favorite game ever made!

100% agreed on there not being enough Chibi-Robo love out there! I adore Hydlide, warts and all. And I REALLY appreciate them noting that some of the NES games were 5-screw on their price tags. There's an accompanying Zelda that matches that Link statue, if that weighs your decision at all. My wife has the Zelda and she looks incredible. :) I kinda need that Sonic statue in my life. Great pickups!! Eagerly looking forward to the Wisdom Tree video - I know so little about those games.

@@BittyKongsQuest Oh, we're not fancy with ours; we grab adhesive magnet sheets from Amazon, adhere slowly and firmly to work any bubbles out, and just sloooooowly cut around the sticker art itself.

Thank you for not doing what others do and just naming it ugly cause "it has a marker stain on the cart shell" or "the label is starting to come off." Much more common is the rental store stickers, or a ripped label, or permanent marker on the label itself. Collectors are so adverse to it, and whatever, my gain. I am going for a full Sega Genesis collection and while I go for the nicest condition I can find, I won't not buy it if it is ugly. Especially the high end ones. I have Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel with a faded label. I have some games that came with no label at all that I picked up for $10 each. Just bought repro labels for those. It looks great, I know the game inside is authentic, and I don't plan on selling it. Even if I do, it still would just sell it for a bit less, as if it had no label at all, and be honest with the buyer. Again though, looking forward to the day I have all the games, don't plan to sell, and as long as the original game is inside, that's what matters to me.

This is a great game and very obscure heh....And obscure Japanese games happen to be my niche and place love these. I admit this game slipped under my radar for years even someone like me who emulates games. i am only just now finding it and by chance on my Nintendo switch I downloaded the original version that has all the emulator features in it like save states and all that junk. I'll def be emulating the others and I will be buying the 2nd game Hebereke 2. Curious question do you know these other obscure japanese games by any chance? There is the Wagyan Land series I played quite a few of them and Nage Libre an SNES and PS1 jrpg game those are worth checking out too and talking about I think.

@@BittyKongsQuest Nage Libre is great it is a tactical RPG with some fun characters and fun gameplay. Also despite it being an RPG it is quite easy to play it with 0 knowledge of Japanese. I played that game quite a few times. The sequel on the PS1 is called Nage Libre Seijaku no Suishin the company that made these games mysteriously went under though and no longer exists as far as I know. Also great to see someone else who enjoys Wgyan! I love those games I even recorded gameplay f a few of those games over on my channel not that many people know of those gems I wish they were released in America alas I fear it will never happen at this rate the entire series is Japan only forever.

if you want more games that are burned ill sell my humble 3ds collection or whats left of it at basement price. i tend to be a bit narcoleptic. or very, and i would play till late hours.. well to make a long story shorter, i nodded and dropped a lit smoke onto a pouch some hippie gave me that was holding the 3ds games, and woke in time to save them..all but one, but they melted together. i snapped them apart and kinda sanded the cart till it fit again, and they still play. they have character nicely toasted.

You can always make new labels. I know its not the official label but ive had carts that were chewd by dogs and stuff. Labels gone completely. All kinds of stuff. I think the game is more enjoyable when you have made your own cart. One of my favorite carts is solid brass with a clear pokemon gold label on it so the brass shines threw Ho-oh. Its a gorgeous cart

I bought this game right when it released. I already had Super Mario 64 and Star Wars SotE, so this rounded things out a bit for me. I played it a ton until I got GoldenEye...then Zelda OoT dropped and those were the only games I needed. The N64 had some great titles, had they went CD based to get better textures it would have been insane for a late 1996 released console.

Looking back to when I first started collecting about 15 years ago, one of my biggest regrets is intentionally peeling off rental stickers. Realizing the historical/sentimental value of the rental era, I eventually stopped and kept them on. I still kick myself for seeing those as an eyesore, but you live and learn.

The idea of rental stickers or other imperfections to (roughly) verify authenticity is stupidly brilliant. All of the collecting hype is too focused on physical condition (akin to shelf candy), rather than people truly enjoying the games/consoles. I've got a copy of Chrono Trigger with it's label pock marked, about 15 years ago at a Game Crazy, for a cheaper price because of the blemish to the label (the rest of the cart is fine). I'm fine with an "ugly" game, so long that it works.
@BittyKongsQuest
@BittyKongsQuest 3 ай бұрын
That's awesome! My childhood copy of Chrono Trigger has some visible wear on the label as well, but I love it all the same! And yeah, lately I've started looking at wear to a game as an extra bit of security that what I'm buying is a real copy (in addition to checking the board, of course). It's just too easy for "mint" copies to be fake these days. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks so much for watching!
