I always love it when a capital ship slams out of hyperspace like this. Sure, the MC-75 isn't as powerful as an ISD, but it really made a statement arriving right in the middle of it's fleet.

If u see it for what it is - almost like a comic brought to life this is amazing. I would have loved to have read this scene in a comic. 45 years old me loves these films.

I really love this whole sequence. Up until this point the Rebellion had been operating in secret with minor, covert missions every so often. This whole scene is basically an ultimatum. Either you prove you’re serious about this and fight or you’re telling everyone you’re a coward who’s abandoning the Alliance. This is the start of open rebellion against the Empire.

Most realistic would be if he did not die but was paralyzed from the waist down due to the obvious fact that his spinal cord is severed. He would also need some organ transplants but the stab to the stomach should not be immediately fatal.

I always thought 2:45 was an error in the movie, because Qui Gon and Kenobi move away too fast, but then I'm told they have Force Speed. This is kind of dumb, because technically they could just have out ran every enemy or dark jedi they face. I know the force gives them super human abilities, but this is stupid because they could have just captured the Viceroy when they arrived.

Not to mention the Race car Luis is driving is sick

They take on a Sith and countless droids but flee from two droidekas? Hmm

That theme music gets me every time it’s so good in this scene

Fan service seems so great when you first watch it. In retrospect after the shit stain of the sequel trilogy and all the TV show flops, Star Wars can apparently only do stories well where we know what the outcome is going to be or leads to. This is exhibit A.
