For everyone talking about how great the detail to story, characters, and environment was done so wall, this was due to Disney bringing in Mr Alan Horn to run Disney Studios immediately after Warner Brothers ousted him. Mr Horn was a founding member of Castlerock Entertainment which produced the hits: A Few Good Men, The Green Mile, and Shawshank Redemption, and Seinfeld.

I remember seeing this in theatre and being so fucking locked in when the X-wing pops out of hyperspace. Lets fucking GOOOOOOO I reckon this might be the best starfight put to film. Obviously Return of the Jedi gives it a run for its money, but I'd say this one can make a case for sure.

That's one advantage the Rebels had their fighters could go into hyperspace. They could literally boom and zoom, basically meaning cause as much damage as possible then GTFO.

I don't get why this Tarkin got so much hate. It pushed the limits of CGI and it looks great. It's the Jurassic Park of the 2010's in my opinion. When Jurassic Park was released, CGI was in its infancy, and that movie still holds up today.
