Sounds like me getting on a 1000 for the 1st time. After I totaled my 636 (the only accident I’ve been in the 11 years I’ve been riding) my buddy let me take his 2010 fireblade for a spin. I was scared to death. Been on liter bikes since😂

I know this is an old video, but man is it good. I've watched a LOT of "motovlogs" and yours are easily at the top. I love how you call yourself a "newbie" even though you're probably more experienced than a lot of riders on the road, you just happen to respect the fact that it's a new bike for you, and a lot of practice and training goes into becoming a great rider. Hope you are doing well, I'm currently trying to talk my wife into letting me get a motorcycle after not riding for many years. edit: The wrist pain is just the fact that it's a 1000cc supersport bike, the handlebars are probably lower than your buttcheeks just about, so there's a ton of pressure on your hands and wrist. You can alleviate some of that by squeezing your hips a bit tighter and trying to take some of the weight off but really it's just a racetrack-oriented bike and you probably haven't used those muscles in a long time.

I just bought an early fireblade for my first bike. It's a project so it'll take some time before I can get on it. I've got the discipline to learn it safely but it still worries me. I bought my wife a decent early sv650, I'll probably get experience on it first.

Wow! Definitely making some newbie mistakes. Riding that close to the curb on the left you think is safe is way worse . Ride that line by the car make eye Contact in their side mirror never set in a cars blind spot and jump the car with one little twist. Making yourself known is so important. Riding safe "Newbie" and nervous gets you killed! being loud and confidante makes you known. I suggest any new rider on any size bike they cause to ride use social media or just riding around and ask simple questions to other riders what tips they have for you cuz most of us experience riders were in those dangerous situations and are more then happy to help give some pointers. At the end of the day its all on you resect the bike!! Ride safe and have fun!! #2013yamahaR1 #2004CBR1000RR

It wasn’t until I got my motorcycle a couple days ago and have been riding that I realized why people say don’t buy a big bike as your first one. Sure, if you don’t screw up, you’ll be fine. If you never accidentally drop the clutch too fast, or accidentally give too much throttle in a turn, and never accidentally do anything wrong, you’ll never have a problem. But I’ve come to realize that in certain situations when there’s a lot going on around you, I tend to sometimes accidentally give a little too much throttle, or Mis judge my clutches friction zone, and I’m safe when I do that because I picked a slower bike. But in a liter bike? I imagine I wouldve dropped it already because it’s not forgiving like mine is.

so you are giving advice when you don't even have the experience of a liter bike. okay
@Valkyrie11b Жыл бұрын
@@KZbinSupportTeams His advice is very true and completely logical. Liter bikes are way less forgiving when mistakes are made, and beginners happen to make a lot of little mistakes, and sometimes big ones.
@YouTubeSupportTeams Жыл бұрын
@@Valkyrie11b any beginner getting on a litre bike is brain dead anyway. You don't just start from day 1 on a litre bike because you have the licence, but someone experienced on powerful dirt bikes or even a 125 and has been riding for a long time and has the maturity and respect for a powerful machine can certainly ride a litre bike in low performance mode if available. I'm not even bringing a complete novice into the equation, thats just mental. But MANY people have started on a litre bike, not that i recommend it at all, especially if they are under 25.

Just got my first bike.Its a Sportster 883.was kinda wanting something a bit smaller but it's not band.its actually a nice bike to learn on and she's very beautiful!!I always wanted a crotch rocket my whole life until about a year ago when I actually started looking for one and for some reason my mind just changed and went to a cruiser and I just dedicated myself to getting a cruiser LOL.Stay safe and upright man!!🙏🙏

What is a liter bike? Is it lighter or litre?
@nihonkokusai3 жыл бұрын
liter bikes are not for the fainted hearted even the r6 or the cbr600r are scary. Just 5% of the throttle is enough to learn stepwise to be the master of a liter bike. starting with a 600 is more scary than this one as liter bikes the powerband is on the high rpm side 7000> under that its just a 500cc.
