Depending on tyre size, you also may need to let air out of the tyres, especially on mountain bikes.

Thanks for the tip to squeeze the caliper and lift the noodle. I had been unscrewing the bolt that secures the cable before. This is way easier and requires less recalibration after reinstalling the wheel.

the dropper seat post wasn't installed. on fact the cable hang out the frame and wasn't attached to the bar nor the seat post at all.

Thank you for a very straightforward video, I needed to find a way to show someone how to take their bike wheel off quickly and this was probably better than any verbal description I could have given. 😂

can you make a video on troubleshooting for some reason, the spring adjustments aren't working, and one of my break pads rubs against the rim no matter whether the adjustment screw is out or turned in all the way

I only wish whoever edited this video didn't think that that awful, annoying music was needed. When are video editors ever going to learn that simple fact?

Good video. My problem is when I replace the brake pad, it twists as I snug up the bolt. There are other brake pad designs on older bikes where this is worse problem, you need three hands. I'm aware of the "third hand" device but mine doesn't fit the cantilever type brakes shown in this video

Thanks for this! I keep trying to look up what's wrong with my v-brakes, and they're apparently missing the springs. No wonder they're loose and not braking properly!

I've been nervous about removing the wheel on a bike I bought several years ago due to the breaks possibly closing. Thank you for showing how easy this actually is.

In lockdown and my friend lent me his Volt. The only thing was my entry-level road bike was not compatible. Whilst I had my bike wheel off I thought I'd give it a little clean - MISTAKE! In short, thanks! This vid helped me get the back wheel back in its rightful place

thanks 4 the video. what about the case when the arms work fine when u pull the lever but tilt (and don't recover) when u push in on one side? the other side recovers (pulls back from the rim) but the first side doesn't. i tried micro-adjustment screws but it didn't help.

No way I can’t believe there’s a video on this bike I have the same bike and I love it even though it’s really old it rides like a dream, I’m 13 and it used to be my dads bike but he doesn’t ride it so now it’s mine it’s crazy to see all the extra parts on it that I took off lol
