I have been renting a 2016 Rocky Mountain Fusion 29er from my local trail center; and as far as I can pedal - I can see no reason why this model is not a top 10 choice for beginner MTB bikers . Great value, upgradable specs, and nice big tires.

I own this bike, in a black n red color, this bike is alot different then on the video, it's the most recent fusion they made with rock shox is why I bought it. But the bike shown on the video has a different rear derailer, mine does not have the switch. Also I have 29x 2.2 maxxis ikon tires on mine which came with it. The handle bars are different. Mine are straight. The handle grips are different. Also the TIRE UPGRADE NOT DOABLE without removing the front derailer completely. I put on a 2.3 tire and it rubbed against it. The clearance it has stock is only about half an inch. I have not yet removed my front derailer and put a one by because I am still happy with my bike. I rode really hard through alot of mud. For hours and the bike still perform very well. This bike I have many minor issues with changing the gear. It like to skip a gear when I go to change. I might just change the entire rear derailed, i have now Shimano acera derailer.i love my bike. This a good bike. But changing to different tire will cost some money

Also the crank arms and pedals are different on the bike on the video then to mine

Weird, I fit a dhr2 on front and back. That's a 2.3" tire. I have the 2016 910 model.
