His assists are fake,,just making basic passes to players who shoot right away... In his first 7 seasons he wasnt doing anything..he only became great when small ball started..

A lot of people don't understand the extent of what "small market team" means. If a starter gets hurt in California, they can get a free agent and if that don't work they'll get another one and another one until someone fits. Who's gonna go to Wisconsin to cover for Middleton, or whatever? Nobody, that's who. There has never been a small market team to win multiple chips in a few years.
@MeBihhhh3 сағат бұрын
What’s a small market? Milwaukee is bigger than Miami and 45min from Chicago. Your logic is agents aren’t close and so players don’t like small markets? It’s 2024 kid 😂
@BengaIaas2 сағат бұрын
@MeBihhhh my logic is that players don't want to live in places like Wisconsin, and it's not my logic, it's what many players have said themselves. A max contract in LA is the same as a max contract in a flyover state, but the life is not the same for a millionaire in his 20s or 30s.

Brooklyn Trio was literally working really good but they got cooked by injuries, poor coaching decisions, poor rotation management on an injured James Harden who was never the same after that series, Kyrie and prolly most of the nets Locker room thinking they don't need a coach and the weird shit that Kyrie did leading to losing James there were probably other factors to why James got unhappy but they traded him and got ben fucking Simmons

6:47 to be honest yeah it did only last 3 years and yeah we do have to credit the raptors, but the thing is is that the Warriors were not healthy those playoffs neither at its fullest extent for 2 playoff series. I think putting injuries to what killed a dynasty over the kawhi led raptors is more wise due to the fact that even with klay Thompson on the court they were looking to push that series to 7 games.

@mandaoncourt16 күн бұрын
@@roronoaDzoro1111 I think it’s about the sheer volume Steph and the Warriors were shooting at and the fact dat you can see the statistical impact they had. KD took 5 or 6 threes a game most of his career and while a lot of the tall skinny off brand KDs like Ingram were obviously inspired by him, the overall 3 point impact on the NBA is Curry. Nobody was shooting 11 3s a game before 15-16 and then Curry did and suddenly everybody’s 3 point shooting elevated. Gasol went from takin literally 0 threes a game to 3 or 4 immediately after 15-16. Horford was taking 0.5 and then it suddenly leaped to 3 and up for the rest of his career in 15-16. KD’s impact was immense but I wouldn’t say it was as large as Curry’s. He had a big impact on a specific type of player but Curry had an impact on every position and completely shifted the way everyone played

getting 1 superstar or 2 that compliment each other really well, build a great supporting cast around them, you'd think that'll be common sense😭
@FootballMythos16 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s the same in football, super teams, or galacticos policies rarely ever bring forth success to the team and end up being financial ruins, you can see this in the Real Madrid 2000s project where some of the best players in the world were playing under one team yet underperformed, and the same with PSG, at least in Europe. A similar thing is happening to Real Madrid now. Simply buying superstars won’t bring forth success.

The 3-point statistical argument is flawed. It goes something like this… A 40% avg in paint makes a typical shot down low worth 0.8 points. In contrast, NBA players are making one-third of their shots at 3-point range, so those shots on average are worth 1 point. Based on that math alone, all shots should be from behind the arc. The problem with that is it overlooks the importance of having a guy down low who can also 1. Attract the defense to him; and 2. Grab offensive rebounds and put it back in. In other words, when your bigs are outside, they’re doing nothing for you down low. So, yes, it’s essential for a team to shoot a lot of 3-pointers. But the big men shouldn’t be the ones shooting them. Unless they’re able too shoot far above the league average - say 40% or so - then they’re more valuable in the paint, letting a guard shoot from outside. And by the way, Wemby barely shot at NBA average last year, and this year he’s shooting an abysmal 22% from behind the arc. So he has absolutely no business out there firing up threes all day. He hurts the Spurs when he does that.
