this version is so beautifully done. it truly respects the original song while putting their own folky bluegrass edge on it that isn't abrasive whatsoever. what great job. not that I won't listen to the original but I'll be listening to this version until I'm dead and gone.

Seeing them in the early 2001 at the Tralf opening for Mike Clark totally spun me into a whole new musical direction in my life. I then saw them around 20 times into the mid 2000s. Not only opening the door to many other jammy space jazz fusion bands of the day but also to inspect the early 1950's onward with Spiritual Jazz / Free Jazz / Fusion and moving forward. I owe this band a lot. God Bless JFJO.

Really love this version, you guys did awesome. The original was a nostaglic favorite of mine, I remember listening to that CD on repeat playing legos and magic cards. But this cover really elevates it, it makes the song feel like a folk standard rather than an old rock hit. I also really love the bit you guys add (from your own work?) 'people come and people go...' etc. Also the signing at 5:00 ("so that's the position...") hits so good, reminds me of good spots in 'Brian Wilson' by the Barenaked ladies, who you guys are a lot like (mean that as a compliment!). Great, great cover, thanks for making this and putting it out there.

Jason Smart, Reed Mathis, Brian Haas... 😮😮😮 Glad the trio is back. My first concert ever, 19 years ago, Mike Dillon band and JFJO. Skerik was up for both sets of course.
