First time OFW ako, 28 years old as a chef dito sa Slovakia EU for 2 months. Apakaganda at nakakaproud itype ung EU, kasi pangarap ng karamihan eh. Pero mas iba dito kasi hindi mo maipaglaban sarili mo. Oo, mahina ako at umaabot sa punto na napipikon ako in silence, gustong gusto ko ng pumalag ba, pero wala. Wala lakas ng loob para dun, nakikisama eh. Tinatawag akong kung ano ano pero ang tanging nagagawa ko, ngumiti kahit masakit. Akala ko ako lang nakakaranas neto at meron din naman palang iba. Ang hirap at umaasa ako sa search para may mabasa o mapanuod about sa gantong experience. Wala ako makausap kahit isa. Mag isa lang akong pinoy dito sa lugar na to. Minsan lagi naiisip ko na matatapos ko kaya to, pero bandang huli wala akong ibang choice kundi tapusin tlga to kasi wala naman akong ibang mapupuntahan at dahil to lahat sa pangarap ko. Sana may makapansin netong comment ko at handang mag bigay ng advice sakin. Maraming salamat po sainyo!

doc you forgot the medicare in califonia in addition to federal programs,there is also medical so you will have 2 coverage medicare and medical to supplement.I am retired at 55 and I have private insurance covering my family.

are you doing endoscopies yourself,and able to prescribe meds for your findings?

as a specialist,are you allowed to prescribe medications and do surgical procedures related to your specialisation?I am intrigue when I see specialist nurse ,I am wondering if they are same as the nurse practitioners they have in the US,who went to school to be able to see pts like a doctor.I also see nurse endoscopist,I am guessing he/she is doing endoscopies themselves?

if you are from the US and you had an emergency,the insurance will reimburse your expenses 100%,I guess NHS does not do that.

If you did not pay the bill and told them you don't have money,they will let you go and charge that to the government.

a homeless person with no health insurance is admitted and treated accordingly in the US,the government fund reimburses the hospitals for their services without the citizen knowing it.

I hate it when people kept saying or posting that the UK National Health Service (NHS) is FREE. It is NOT. Even if you are not working and not paying taxes, people that actually work and pay taxes, pays it for you. So it is not free and never will be free. Walang libreng healthcare sa mundo. Lahat binabayaran one way or another. It is only free if you are on benefits and not paying a single cent on taxes. This kind of videos does not give justice on the true nature of the different healthcare system in different countries and may discourage other nurses to try exploring the option of pursuing USRN. Grateful for the life we had in the UK and thankful for the opportunity to be here in the US. Blessed to be dual citizen of both worlds. But I will highly encourage UKRNs to explore USRN if given the chance.
