if you have the opportunity to work in the USA or Canada the better. Nurses in the USA generally have higher salaries. Nurses in the US make at least 3 to 4x as much compared in the UK, where average salary to be only 28,000 pounds ( P1,960,000) to a newly qualified UK-RN. compared to USA-RN Average base salary of $93,514 a year ( P5,329, 000) and I think taxes here in the UK are even higher.As a top Band 5 in the NHS pay band i have to pay back the HMRC a top up income tax of at least £3000 to $5000 as they said I am under taxed so I have to returned back the money. so if you have the chance to take and pass the NCLEX the better. unfortunately i failed the NCLEX so many times.

Pumasa ako nclex 15 yrs ago...hndi ko nagamit haha still here in the UK! Found a way to increase my salary, Agency😂. Unfortunately staying in the NHS is not financially rewarding, unless ma promote ka to a band 7 above. So sabi nga ni manong, skilling up is the way!

@@miyoy21 sinayang mo ang opportunity your 1 week earning as UKRN is just one night in america, you are earning 500,000 a month as USARN whereas 150,000 as UKRN a month. malayo ang mararating mo sa america compared to UK take note mansion ang mga bahay ng mga pinoy nurses sa america with at least 3 to 5 cars. .. compared to UK maliit lang na tirahan dito at sobrang mahal. at mahirap mag maintain ng sasakyan dito. fortunately i have so many relatives in the USA

May goverment consultation po na on going ngayon regarding a separate pay spine for nurses na pinupush po ng Royal College of Nursing( biggest union of nurses in the UK), pag natuloy po starting salary po for band 5 will be 35k pounds annually then will progress up to 50k pounds annually, then after a period of time they want an automatic progression from band 5 to 6 through preceptorship program, then once band 6 salary will range from 50k to 60K + pounds annually. But may mga nag ooppose po na mga allied health professionals, pero in the end its up to the goverment to decide.

@@manonggeorge yes po manong, ganon naman po talaga sa ibang english speaking countries like US, canada, AUS, NZ, Republic of Ireland may sariling pay scale po ang mga nurses kaya sana dto din mangyare.
